Monroeton man charged with violating Megan's Law

John Arthur Frederick, 49, of Monroeton was recently charged with a violation of Megan's Law, police said.

Frederick failed to arrive at the state police barracks at Towanda to verify his information during one of his quarterly verifications, police said.

State police said they investigated the matter on March 26.

Frederick was arraigned by Towanda Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark on April 9. Frederick was then sent to the Bradford County jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.

Frederick must attend a preliminary hearing before Judge Clark on April 16.

 

Dushore man cited for harassment

Steven Spencer, 37, pushed 30-year-old Stacey Terry during an argument in their Dushore apartment, police said.

The incident occurred at 5:10 a.m. on March 12, police said.

As a result of this incident, Spencer has been cited for harassment, state police at Laporte said.

 

Man cited for public drunkenness in Mildred

Thomas Wulff Jr., 32, of Lebanon, Pa., was cited for public drunkenness following an incident in the parking lot of the Dandy Mini Mart in Mildred, Sullivan County, police said.

The incident occurred at 7:22 a.m. on Sunday, state police at Laporte said.

 

Criminal mischief occurs in Wysox Twp.

State police at Towanda said they are trying to determine who recently removed the screens from the windows of a 25-year-old Wysox Township woman's residence, police said.

The incident occurred on Dogwood Lane, state police at Towanda said.

The state police did not provide an approximate date of the incident, but said it occurred during the afternoon hours.
