Waverly police make arrests
Waverly village police recently arrested the following, according to a release from the Waverly Police Department:
Cerdan Holmes, 22, of Waverly, at April 12, for false personation. Police said Holmes gave a false name to police during a traffic stop on Fulton Street. Holmes was also wanted by New York State Police in Horseheads, N.Y., police said. Holmes was released to state police and was scheduled to appear April 17 in Waverly Village Court.
Joseph Middaugh, 23, of Elmira, N.Y., on April 12, for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, following a traffic stop on Fulton Street.
Harry Smith, 42, of Monroeton, on April 16, for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and equipment violations, following a traffic stop on Fulton Street.
