The following information was provided by the Hopewell Police Department.

- Assault-Aggravated: At 2:21 a.m., April 2, police responded to the 1100 blk of Maryville Avenue in reference to an assault. Unknown offender beat victim with fists during argument breaking the victim's jaw.

- Burglary/Breaking And Entering/Residential: At 12:30 a.m., March 31, police responded to the 500 blk of Nottingham Court for a reported burglary. Unknown offender entered residence via unsecured sliding door and stole game system and tv.

- Burglary/Breaking And Entering/Residential: At 6:15 p.m., April 1, police responded to the 400 blk of N 12th Avenue in reference to a burglary. Unknown offender entered residence via rear door and stole tv, game system and shoes.

- Burglary/Breaking And Entering/Residential: At 5:50 a.m., April 2, police responded to the 1300 blk of Roanoke Avenue for a reported burglary. Unknown offender entered residence by breaking rear door glass and stole knives and cash.

- Drug Equipment Violations: At 9:02 p.m., April 1, police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Oaklawn Blvd and I-295. The driver was found to be in possession of drug equipment and was arrested.

- Drug Equipment Violations: At 12:31 a.m., April 5, police responded to the 500 blk of N 5th Avenue for suspicious circumstance. Drug equipment was seized from a trailer.

- Larceny/Theft Of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories: At 12 a.m., April 2, Police responded to headquarters in reference to a reported larceny in the 500 blk of N 6th Avenue. Unknown offender stole license plates from vehicle.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 4:17 a.m., March 31, police responded to the 400 blk of Allen Avenue in reference to an abandoned vehicle. Owner put stolen registration stickers on vehicle and was later arrested.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 12 a.m., April 2, police responded to the 300 blk of N 15th Avenue in regards to a larceny. Unknown offender stole copper tubing from outside air conditioning unit.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 10 p.m., April 3, police responded to the 200 blk of N 14th Avenue for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole three central air conditioning units.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 12 p.m., March 31, police responded to the 5300 blk of Plaza Drive for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole cash from room.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 11:59 p.m., April 1, police were dispatched to the 100 blk of S 13th Avenue in reference to a larceny. Unknown offender stole washer and dryer from residential porch and lawn mowers from shed.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 3 p.m., April 5, police responded to the 2100 blk of Arlington Road for a reported larceny. Unknown offender entered shed by breaking the lock and stole a gas tank from a riding lawn mower.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 12:01 a.m., April 5, police were dispatched to the 900 blk of W Poythress Street for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole generator, air pump, various tools, ladders and toolbox from shed.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 12:10 p.m., April 5, police responded to the 3200 blk of Courthouse Road for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole gun from vehicle with open windows.

- Motor Vehicle Theft/Stolen Auto: At 1:30 a.m., March 31, police were dispatched to the 3300 blk of Granby Street in reference to a stolen auto. Unknown offender stole vehicle from driveway by unknown means.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction Of Property: At 10:30 p.m., March 31, police responded to the 2200 blk of Freeman Street for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender removed residential window screens and damaged windows.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction Of Property: At 6:45 a.m., March 31, police responded to the 2000 blk of St Thomas Road for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender dented vehicle by unknown means.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction Of Property: At 11:35 a.m., April 2, police responded to the 1500 blk of Piper Square Drive for a reported vandalism. Known offender cut bricks from building and damaged drywall and was arrested.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction Of Property: At 8 p.m., April 4, police responded to the 300 blk of Cavalier Square for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke commercial door glass.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction Of Property: At 9 p.m., April 5, police responded to the 300 blk of Cavalier Square for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke commercial door glass.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction Of Property: At 8:28 p.m., April 5, police responded to the 100 blk of S 8th Avenue for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender stole blankets from a clothes line and set the items on fire.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction Of Property: At 12:28 p.m., April 6, while on patrol police in the 3100 blk of Oaklawn Blvd, police discovered a vandalism. Unknown offender broke vehicle window.

- Weapon Law Offenses: At 9 a.m., April 1, police responded to the 1000 blk of Winston Churchill Drive for a reported weapon at school. Student brought a pocket knife to school.

- Weapon Law Offenses: At 11:31 p.m., April 5, police responded to headquarters for a suspicious circumstance. Known convicted felon was in possession of a firearm and fled from police. The firearm was recovered and found to have been reported stolen.
