District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:
Ryan Smith, 20, Waverly, N.Y., was sentenced to Probation for a term of six months for the offense of Harassment and Underage Consumption of alcohol. Smith was incarcerated for 54 days after his arrest. Officer James Condusta of the Athens Police Department arrested Smith for the offense in November.
John Teneyck, 39, Troy, Pa., was sentenced to State Intermediate Punishment for 24 months and a fine of $2100. Teneyck will also lose his driver's license for 30 months for the offense of Fleeing and Eluding, felony of the third degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor and Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Teneyck following investigation of an incident that occurred in Monroe Township on Sept. 29, 2013.
Christina Paris, 22, Wyalusing, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility for 11 months to 24 months, and a fine of $500, she will also lose her driver's license for six months for the offenses of False ID, a misdemeanor of the third degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Trooper Joshua Thompson of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Paris following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wyalusing and Wysox Township.
Patrick Firestine, 20, Sayre, Pa., was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of probation to a term of three months to 23 months, 29 days, he was also ordered to pay restitution of $295 and a fine of $250, for the offense of Theft from a Motor Vehicle, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Officer Sean Flynn of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Firestine for the offense in May 13, 2012.
Katie Brown, 20, Monroeton, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from four months to 18 months, and a fine of $500, for the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Trooper Kevin Hibson of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Brown following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox Township.
Melissa Ackley, 25, Towanda, Pa., was resentenced following revocation of a term of Probation to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from four months to 12 months, and a fine of $250, for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Ackley following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough.
Larry B. Bennett, 53, Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from 16 months to five years and a fine of $1000, for the offense of Possession of a Designer Drug. Trooper Michael Adams of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Bennett following investigation of an incident that occurred in Monroe Township.

Charles Makinster, 49, Gillett, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Makinster will be sentenced on June 12, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Michael Mislevy of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Makinster following investigation of an incident that occurred in Smithfield Township on Nov. 7, 2013.
Shawn Watkins, 42, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Resisting Arrest, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Watkins will be sentenced on June 12, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Ryan Edsell of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Watkins for the offense in November.
Shannon Lee Kellam, 36, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Kellam will be sentenced on June 12, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Derek Watkins of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Kellam for the offense in September.
Dawin Brown, 21, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Flight to Avoid Apprehension, a Felony of the third degree. Brown will be sentenced on June 12, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Deputy James Hart of the Bradford County Sherriff's Department arrested Brown for the offense in November.

Mark Thetga, 25, Rome, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Criminal Mischief and Open Alcohol Containers in Vehicle, both summary offenses. Thetga will be sentenced on June 12, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Michael Tereske of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Thetga following investigation of an incident that occurred in Windham Township.
Timothy Mosier Jr., 27, New Albany, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Conspiracy/Delivery Controlled Substance, a felony. Mosier will be sentenced on June 12, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Mosier following investigation of an incident that occurred in Albany Township in June 2013.
Francis Moore, 43, Corning, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Moore will be sentenced on June 5, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Bruce Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Moore for the offense on Jan. 8, 2014.
Lawrence McKeeve, 33, Elmira Heights, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. McKeeve will be sentenced on June 5, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Sean Cooney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested McKeeve following investigation of an incident that occurred in Columbia Township on Oct. 12, 2013.
Allan Simons, 59, Columbia Crossroads, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Simons will be sentenced on June 5, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Tyler Brackman of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Simons following investigation of an incident that occurred in Burlington Township on Nov. 29, 2013.
Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were recently accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:
Daniel Lenox, 51, Milan, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Lenox will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Lenox must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper Robert Richter of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Lenox for the offense on Nov. 9, 2013 in Smithfield Township.
Dylan Miller, 22, Towanda, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Miller will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Miller must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days and pay restitution.
Trooper William McDermott of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Miller for an offense in Towanda Township on Oct. 26, 2013.
Richard Green, 49, formerly of Sayre, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Green will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Green must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer Nathan Ross of the Sayre Police Department filed the charged in June for the offense in Sayre Borough.

Timothy Mosier Jr., 27, New Albany, Pa., entered a plea of Nolo Contendere/no contest to Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree and Harassment, a summary offense. Mosier will be sentenced on June 12, 2013, following preparation of a pre-sentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. A no-contest plea is entered where the defendant cannot recall the event but will be held guilty and sentenced. Trooper Michael Mosier of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Mosier following investigation of an incident that occurred in Albany Township.
