Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced the following recent Bradford County criminal case resolutions:

Quentin Landon, 37, Troy, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to 30 days, and court costs.

Sergeant David Lantz of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Landon for the offense on April 4, 2014, following investigation of a Possession of Drug Paraphernalia that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Larry Harbst, 26, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Harassment, a summary offense and was sentenced to a fine of $200, and court costs. Officer Travis Snyder of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Harbst for the offense on Nov. 15, 2013, following investigation of an assault that occurred in Sayre Borough.

Katie Keene, 26, Waverly, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Theft from a Motor Vehicle, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to 10 days plus restitution in the amount of $100 and court costs. Officer Derek Watkins of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Keene for the offense on April 12, 2014, following investigation of a theft that occurred in Sayre Borough.

Robert Raezer, 44, Ulster, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to restitution in the amount of $486.40 and court costs. Trooper Brandon Allis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Raezer for the offense on Aug. 24, 2013, following investigation of a disorderly conduct that occurred in Franklin Township.

Erick Bartholomew, 26, Monroeton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to restitution in the amount of $486.40 and court costs. Trooper Brandon Allis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Bartholomew for the offense on Aug. 24, 2013, following investigation of a disorderly conduct that occurred in Franklin Township.

Darcy Crone, 27, Wellsburg, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to a fine of $100, and court costs. Trooper Michael Mislevy of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Crone for the offense on Aug. 9, 2013, following investigation of a Possession of Drug Paraphernalia that occurred in Burlington Borough.

Leigh Ayers, 42, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Harassment, a summary offense, and was sentenced to a fine of $50 and court costs. Trooper Christopher Schelling of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Vanderpool for the offense on Dec. 21, 2013, following investigation of an assault that occurred in Monroe Township.

Joel Vanderpool, 31, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to 13 days and court costs.

Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Vanderpool for the offense on March 28, 2014, following investigation of a disorderly conduct that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Travis Davenport, 20, Mildred, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree, Criminal Mischief, a summary offense and was sentenced to pay a fine of $150, restitution in the amount of $300 and court costs. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Davenport for the offense on Dec. 26, 2013, following investigation of a disorderly conduct that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Scott Allis, 22, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offenses of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree and Criminal Mischief, a summary offense and was sentenced to a fine of $150, restitution in the amount of $400, and court costs. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Allis for the offense on Dec. 26, 2013, following investigation of a disorderly conduct that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Jeffery Sturzenegger, 61, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to a fine of $100 and court costs. Trooper Sean Cooney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Sturzenegger for the offense on Dec. 27, 2013, following investigation of a possession of paraphernalia that occurred in Towanda Township.

Karen Prough, 52, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to a fine of $100, and court costs. Trooper Sean Cooney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Prough for the offense on Dec. 27, 2013, following investigation of a Possession of Drug Paraphernalia that occurred in Towanda Township.

Travis Ayers, 21, Troy, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox to Receiving Stolen Property, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to restitution in the amount of $100 and court costs. Trooper David Sweeney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Ayers for the offense.

Scott Allis, 22, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton to Receiving Stolen Property, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to a fine of $250 and court costs. Trooper David Sweeney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Allis for the offense on Feb. 24, 2014, following investigation of a theft that occurred in Wysox Township.

Matthew Ferris, 36, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton to the offense of Careless Driving, a summary offense and Criminal Mischief, also a summary offense and was sentenced to restitution in the amount of $912.02, and court costs. Trooper David Sweeney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Ferris for the offense on March 22, 2014, following investigation of a careless driving that occurred in Asylum Township.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Ryan Allis, 20, of Towanda, Pa., was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of probation to a term of imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 24 days to 12 months, he was also ordered to pay restitution of $600 and a fine of $250 for the offenses of Theft, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Allis following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox Township.

Rebecca Rees, 38, of Towanda, Pa., was resentenced following revocation of sentences of probation to a term of imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility of from six months to 23 months, 29 days, she was also ordered to pay restitution of $675 (buy money) and a fine of $500, she will also lose her driver's license for six months for the offense of Delivery of a controlled substance, a felony. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Rees following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Gary Bennett III, 22, of Binghamton, N.Y., was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of probation to a term of imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility and a fine of $300 for the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree and Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Officer Eric Keir of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Bennett for the offense in Oct. 13, 2012.

Dylan Beers, 20, of Athens, Pa., was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of probation to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from nine months to 36 months, he was also ordered to pay restitution of $1260.50 and a fine of $1000, for the offenses of Receiving Stolen Property, a misdemeanor of the second degree, Receiving Stolen Property, a misdemeanor of the third degree and Flight to Avoid Apprehension, misdemeanor of the second degree. Trooper Youngblood and Flynn of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Beers following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda/Wysox Township.

Matthew Malorzo, 27, Sayre, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from 24 months to 72 months, he was also ordered to pay restitution of $16,879.52 and a fine of $2000 for the offense of Burglary at a Litchfield home and Criminal Trespass at another Litchfield home on Sept. 29, 2013. Trooper Jeffrey Sredenschek of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Malorzo following investigation of an incident that occurred in Litchfield Township. The sentence imposed on April 28, 2014, will be served after Malorzo completes the 18 month to 48 month sentence imposed for other crimes for a total of 32 months to 120 months.

Thomas Zaleski, 42, Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 90 days to six months and a fine of $1000; he will also lose his driver's license for 12 months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Trooper Robert Edgerton of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Zaleski following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough in Feb. 23, 2014.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons recently entered guilty pleas in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Brandon Teeter, 28, Canton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Teeter will be sentenced on June 30, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Trey Kurtz of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Teeter for the offense on Sept. 27, 2013.

Thomas Zaleski, 42, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Zaleski will be sentenced on June 17, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Robert Edgerton of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Zaleski following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough on Feb. 23, 2014.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were recently accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) Program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Mark Barrett, 42, Towanda, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Barrett will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Barrett must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days.

Roy Blanchard, 31, Towanda, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Blanchard will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Blanchard must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel. Corporal Norman Strauss of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Blanchard for the offense on Jan. 1, 2014 in Monroe Township.

Christopher Brewster, 24, Wyalusing, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Brewster will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Brewster must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days. Trooper Christopher Stecik of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Brewster for the offense on Dec. 11, 2013, in Albany Township.

Tyler Cordner, 19, Monroeton, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Cordner will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Cordner must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper William McDermott of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Cordner for the offense on Dec. 23, 2013, in Towanda Township.

Paul Craig, 34, Athens, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Craig will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Craig must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days. Officer Andrew Stevens of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Craig for the offense in Athens Borough.

Patience Durgin, 37, Athens, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Durgin will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Durgin must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and she will lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer James Condusta of the Athens Borough Police Department filed the charges in Jan. 5, 2014 for the offense in Athens Borough.

Heather Froehlich, 35, Athens, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Froehlich will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Froehlich must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and she will lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer Roger Clink of the Athens Township Police Department filed the charges on Jan. 10, 2014 for the offense in Athens Township.

Ronald Kipp, 28, Wyalusing, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Kipp will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use.

Additionally, Kipp must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days. Trooper William McDermott of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kipp for the offense on Jan. 13, 2014, in Asylum Township.
