Home burglarized in Herrick Twp.
State police are investigating the report of a burglary at a private residence that happened sometime between April 13 and May 2 on CC Allis Road in Herrick Township.
According to police, a person or persons entered the residence and stole various items from the property.

Car vandalized in Wyalusing Twp.
State police are continuing to investigate circumstances surrounding a vandalized car that was damaged at 9:30 p.m. Friday on State Route 706 in Wyalusing Township.
According to police, an unknown person or persons threw an unknown object at a vehicle.
Wyalusing man charged with assault
David James Terry, 33, of Wyalusing has been charged by Laceyville Borough Police with simple assault and harassment relating to a domestic dispute that happened at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in Wyalusing Borough.
Police said Terry became involved in an argument with his girlfriend before physically assaulting her.
The victim suffered bruising on both of her arms and had dried blood around her nose, police said.
Terry denied being involved in the assault and told police it was only a heated argument.
He was arraigned on Monday and released on $2,500 unsecured bail, according to court documents.
Terry is scheduled to appear before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton at 2 p.m. on May 13 for a preliminary hearing.
Woman charged with harassment
A Towanda woman was ordered incarcerated in lieu of bail recently on a charge of simple assault.
According to information filed with Magisterial District Judge Tim Clark, Shelia Ann Bump, 43, has also been charged by state police with harassment. Bump is accused of striking and injuring Michael Davis in the face on May 3 during a domestic dispute. Police said this is the second time since May 1 that Bump has been involved in a domestic dispute with Davis.
Bump's preliminary hearing has been scheduled for May 14.
Man charged with failure to register
A Sayre man was taken into custody recently on a charge of failure to comply with registration requirements for sexual offenders.
According to information filed with Magisterial District Justice Tim Clark, Mark Allen Leonard was ordered incarcerated in lieu of $35,000 bail. Leonard has been charged by state police with failure to inform them of a change of employment within three business days as required by law due to his having previously been convicted of a sexually related offense.
Leonard's preliminary hearing has been scheduled before Judge Clark on May 14.
Man charged with DUI
A Wyalusing man was arrested by state police recently on a charge of driving while under the influence.
According to state police, Skylar R. Grimes, 18, was cited for the above offense on May 3. Police said Grimes was observed pulling into the Wysox fire hall parking lot to attend the prom. Upon entering the fire hall, a Towanda police officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath, state police reported. Grimes was taken into custody and transported to Memorial Hospital in Towanda, where he refused to submit to a blood test.
Police said the DUI charge is pending before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton.
Woman faces fraud charges
A Monroeton woman was arrested by the Bradford County Sheriff's Department recently on a charge of defrauding secured creditors.
According to information filed with Magisterial District Judge Tim Clark, Jacquelin M. Belcher, 53, has also been charged with fraud in insolvency. The Sheriff's Department reports that Belcher is accused of selling or otherwise disposing of several items - including a 2000 Ford pickup truck, a 32-inch flat screen television, a 28-inch Sanyo flat screen television, a Hewlett Packard laptop computer, a Toshiba laptop computer, a Black and Decker drill, a horse saddle, a Poulan Pro weed wacker, a Poulan Pro lawn mower, and a Keystone mini fridge - in order to avoid having to turn them over to the rightful owners.
According to reports, a legal judgement had been issued against Belcher for $32,178 in a civil case between her and Jeffrey and Barbara Marrongelle. Sheriff's deputies went to Belcher's residence on May 30, 2013, and issued a levy on the previously listed items, along with a written warning "that is a violation to destroy, remove, conceal, encumber, transfer or otherwise deal with property after levy has been made to hinder enforcement of such interest."
On Aug. 28, 2013, a sheriff's sale was conducted in which the Marrongelles purchased the above items for $365. But the items were never turned over to the Marrongelles, according to the report, and Belcher was eventually charged with illegally disposing of the property.
Belcher was arraigned before Judge Clark, who ordered the defendant incarcerated in lieu of $35,000 bail. Her preliminary hearing has been scheduled for May 7.
