No injuries reported

State police at Mansfield said Brenda Miller, 54, of Dushore, was not injured in a one-vehicle accident at 10:26 a.m. May 6 in Delmar Township, Tioga County, Pa.

Police said she was traveling west on State Route 660, when a deer jumped off an embankment along the south side of the highway, landing in the westbound lane. According to police, Miller's 2002 Ford Focus struck the deer, and then she pulled off the roadway, onto the north berm.

Wellsburg woman faces drug paraphernalia charge

State police at Towanda said Denise Wilson, 47, of Wellsburg, N.Y. was arrested by the Bradford County Sheriff's Office during a traffic stop at 6:15 p.m. April 24 and later charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said she was committed at the Bradford County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail, and while being processed by prison guards, drug paraphernalia was found inside her purse.

Police said charges against Wilson were filed through District Court 42-3-01.

Storage chest found

State police at Towanda said a storage chest containing miscellaneous hand tools fell out of a pickup truck while it was traveling eastbound at 6:30 p.m. May 1 on Windfall Road in Canton Township.

The owner of the storage chest can claim it at the Pennsylvania State Police Towanda station or by calling (570) 265-2186.

No one injured

State police at Towanda said no one was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 9:50 a.m. April 27 on Route 14 in Columbia Township, approximately one-half mile north of Coryland Road.

Police said Larry Sargent, 76, of Wellsburg, N.Y. was traveling south and a deer ran out in front of his Ford Futura, which collided with the deer on its front end. The vehicle had disabling damage to the front end and the driver's side area, and came to rest without incident after striking the deer, police said.

Police investigate Armenia Twp. incident

State police at Towanda said an investigation is ongoing into an incident that took place Feb. 22, 2013 at Armenia Mountain Campground in Armenia Township in which a male suspect would touch the private area of a juvenile victim.
