Burglary occurs in Colley Twp.

A burglary has occurred at a mobile home at 17634 state Route 87 in Colley Township, Sullivan County, police said.

The mobile home is owned by William Kleppinger of Pennsburg, Pa., state police at Laporte said.

Sometime between April 12 and May 4, one or more burglars entered the mobile home by smashing its back window, police said.

Once inside, they stole an electric drill and a yellow, plastic toolbox containing numerous hand tools, police said.

Anyone having information about this crime is asked to contact the state police at Laporte at (570) 946-4610.

Attempted burglary occurs in Dushore

State police said they are investigating a recent attempted burglary of the office at the Overton Road Apartments in Dushore, Sullivan County, police said.

Sometime between 3:45 p.m. on May 6 and noon on May 8, someone unsuccessfully tried to open three windows in the office, state police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Laporte at (570) 946-4610.

PFA violation

State police at Towanda recently investigated the violation of a protection from abuse order in Ulster Township.

According to information from state police, Eric Stephen Odell, 29, is accused of contacting a female victim between April 28 and May 2 while the order was in place. Police said Odell also went to the victim's Ulster Township residence in violation of the order.

Mailbox damaged

State police at Towanda are investigating a report of criminal mischief in Smithfield Township.

According to state police information, an unknown actor or actors damaged a mailbox on Bluebird Road sometime between May 1 and May 3. The actor or actors then fled the scene in an unknown direction by unknown means, police said.
