Minor injury reported
A minor injury was reported in a two-vehicle accident that took place at 6:33 a.m. May 16 on Route 6 in Troy Township, according to state police at Towanda.
Drivers involved in the accident were a 16-year-old Towanda male and Rodney W. Manley, 53, of Troy, according to police. Police said the 16-year-old was not injured and Manley had a minor injury.
Police said the 16-year-old was traveling west and Manley was driving east, when the 16-year-old's vehicle crossed over the center lines and sideswiped Manley's vehicle. The 16-year-old's vehicle came to final rest, facing west on the westbound berm and Manley's vehicle came to final rest, facing west in a ditch on the eastbound travel lane.
Two 15-year-old males in the 16-year-old's vehicle were not injured, police said.
The 16-year-old will be charged with a lane violation, police said.
Man arrested for underage drinking
State police at Towanda said a 19-year-old Rome man was arrested for underage drinking at 8:18 p.m. May 19 at Route 6 and Bailey's Corners in West Burlington Township.
Indecent assault investigated
State police at Towanda said they are investigating an indecent assault involving a 14-year-old Troy female victim and a suspect known to her that occurred sometime between July 1 and September 1 on Route 14 in Columbia Township.
People charged with harassment
State police at Towanda said Cody Robert Pruyne, 24, of Athens, and Shelby Lynn Spencer, 22 of Athens, were charged with harassment through District Court 42-3-01 for an incident that took place at 7:57 p.m. May 17 on Van Horn Road in Troy Township.
A trooper said he responded to the address for a report of a physical altercation between a boyfriend and a girlfriend, and through further investigation, it was found that both parties subjected each other to unwanted physical contact.
Theft reported
State police at Towanda said a 28-year-old Troy Borough male is a suspect in a theft that occurred between 4:18 p.m. and 6:33 p.m. April 12 on Porter Road in Troy Township.
Police said the victim is CS Trucking Inc. in Troy Township, and the suspect used a company gas card to fuel his personal vehicle for a total of approximately $150.
Crash reported
State police at Mansfield said Steven Dale Thome Jr., 22, of Gillett, and his passenger, Michelle Brown, 30, no address given, were transported to Soldiers & Sailors Hospital by ambulance following a traffic crash at 1:29 p.m. May 19 on Route 15 Northbound in Liberty Township, Tioga County, Pa.
Police said Thome was traveling north and his steering locked up, causing him to lose control of his Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme SL, which traveled into the median and rolled onto its roof.
Police said a juvenile was also a passenger in the vehicle and was taken to the hospital.
No information was available about any injuries.
Man arrested on warrant
An Athens man was recently arrested on a warrant issued by the Tioga County, N.Y. Sheriff's Department.
According to the sheriff's office, Steven J. Wheeler, 24, was arrested May 22 on a warrant issued for a family court act violation. Police said Wheeler is accused of failing to pay child support. Wheeler was arrested by Waverly village police and turned over to the sheriff's office, police said.
Wheeler was arraigned in Waverly Village Court and remanded to the Tioga County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond. Wheeler is scheduled to appear in Tioga County Family Court before Judge Gerald Keene at a later date.
