Two charged after wedding reception
State police at Towanda recently charged a Sayre couple with harassment following an altercation at a Ridgebury Township residence.
According to information from state police, Beth Ann Giggee, 32, and Charles Edward Giggee, 35, were charged after the two got into a quarrel May 17 following their wedding reception. Alcohol was a contributing factor, police said.
Man detained on warrant
State police at Towanda recently detained a Waverly man on a warrant out of Waverly, N.Y.
According to state police, on May 30, Joshua E. Bowman, 32, was found to be wanted for criminal sale of a controlled substance. Bowman was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox and remanded to the Bradford County Correctional Facility where he awaits extradition, police said.
Police investigating corruption of minors
State police at Towanda are investigating an alleged corruption of minors in New Albany Borough.
According to state police, between March and May 2014, an unnamed female is accused of having sexual contact with a juvenile victim while knowing the victim was less than 18 years of age. Investigation into the incident continues.
