Wysox woman faces drug paraphernalia charge
Olivia May Stroud, 36, of Wysox was recently charged with possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, according to the Bradford County Sheriff's Office.
The charge stems from a June 16 incident at the Bradford County Courthouse in Towanda, during which Stroud was sentenced to a term of county intermediate punishment by Judge Maureen Beirne, according to the sheriff's office.
After she was sentenced, Stroud was taken into custody and searched, according to Sheriff's Deputy Brian Wibirt.
During the search, a female law enforcement employee recovered a pill crusher on her person, which contained a white powder substance inside it, Wibirt said.
Stroud said the white substance was Percocet, according to Wibirt.
Also recovered during the search was glass straw, which is commonly used for snorting illegal substances, Wibirt said.
