DUI charges
The following people were charged recently in Bradford County with driving while under the influence:
Terry Dee Reider, 42, of Towanda, has also been charged with careless driving; and failure to use traffic signals. Reider was charged on May 18 following a traffic stop by state police on Forked Road in Monroe Township. A blood test eventually revealed that Reider's blood alcohol content was .167 percent on the day of his arrest. Reider has been sent a summons to appear before Judge Clark on July 23.
Cheri-Ann Harkness, 39, of Towanda, has also been charged with failure to wear her seatbelt; careless driving; and crossing the center line of traffic. Harkness was charged by state police on May 5, following a traffic stop on James Street in Sheshequin Township. A blood test eventually revealed the presence of the narcotic oxycodone in Harkness' blood stream on the day of her arrest.
Harkness has been sent a summons to appear before Judge Clark on July 2.
Joshua Charles Nemeth, 31, of Towanda has also been charged with careless driving. Nemeth was charged by Towanda police following a traffic stop on May 20 on Ward Avenue. Nemeth refused to submit to a blood test following his arrest. Nemeth has been sent a summons to appear before Judge Clark on July 16.
