Hopewell Crime for June 29

The following information was provided by the Hopewell Police Department.

- Assault-Aggravated/Domestic: At 7:45 a.m. June 16, police responded to the 1000 block of E. Broadway for reported shots fired. Known offender discharged a firearm at victim inside of a residence and was arrested. No injuries.

- Brandishing Firearm: At 2:37 p.m. June 19, police responded to the 200 block of Western St. for a reported brandishing of a firearm that occurred in the 200 block of E. Broadway. Known juvenile offender displayed firearm.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 11 p.m. June 19, police responded to the 2300 block of Maclin Circle for a reported burglary. Unknown offender entered residence by breaking rear window and stole water tank, toilet and furniture.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 2:30 p.m. June 20, police responded to the 200 block of N. 16th Ave. for a reported burglary. Unknown offender entered residence via window and stole game system and controllers.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 2:30 a.m. June 21, police responded to the 1400 block of Lee Lane for a reported burglary. Known offender forced entry to residence. Nothing stolen. Warrants obtained.

- Drug Equipment Violations: At 12:16 a.m. June 20, police attempted to conduct a traffic stop at the intersection of Meadow Ave. and Courthouse Road. Driver fled, was later apprehended, found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and was arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 2 p.m. June 16, police responded to the 500 block of Brown Ave. in reference to a disturbance. Known offender was in violation of a protective order, was found to be manufacturing illegal narcotics and was arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 2:45 a.m. June 18, police responded to the 3300 block of Oaklawn Blvd. in reference to a disturbance. Known offender attempted to flee on foot, was apprehended and found to be in possession illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia and was arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 12:27 a.m. June 21, police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Cedar Level Road and Kippax Drive. Passenger was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics and was arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 2:32 a.m. June 21, police conducted a traffic stop near Oaklawn Blvd. and I-295. Driver was found to be in possession of marijuana and was arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 10:05 p.m. June 21, police conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of W. Broadway. Passenger was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics and was arrested.

- Fraud-Fraud by Impersonation: At 5:22 p.m. June 19, police responded to the 100 block of S. 8th Ave. for a reported identity theft. Unknown offender used victim's social security number to obtain credit and purchase items.

Fraud-Fraud By Impersonation: At 3:45 a.m. June 20, police responded to the 700 block of N. 8th Ave. in reference to a warrant service. Known offender falsely identified self to police and was later arrested.

- Larceny/Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories: At 3 p.m. June 16, police responded to the 3000 block of Sunset Circle for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole license plate from vehicle.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 6 a.m. June 16, police responded to the 2100 block of Dolin St. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole unsecured bicycle from yard.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 12 p.m. June 19, police responded to the 4200 block of Old Woodlawn St. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole bicycle from porch.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 9 a.m. June 20, police responded to the 300 block of Ramsey Ave. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole an ac unit from a vacant residence.

- Larceny-Shoplifting: At 9:36 p.m. June 21, police responded to the 2300 block of Oaklawn Blvd. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole cologne from business.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 11 a.m. June 17, police responded to the 400 block of Prince George Ave. for a reported larceny. Known offender stole I-Pod from residence. I-Pod later returned.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 5 a.m. June 19, police were dispatched to the 3100 block of River Road in reference to a larceny. Known offender stole laptop and games from residence.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 12:20 a.m. June 17, police responded to the 300 block of Sunset Circle for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole GPS from unlocked vehicle and rummaged through several other unlocked vehicles.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 12:30 p.m. June 17, police responded to the 2000 block of Petersburg St. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender entered vehicle with cracked windows and stole medication and cell phone.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 2:30 a.m. June 18, police responded to the 1600 block of Liberty Ave. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender entered vehicle by breaking window and stole purse.

- Motor Vehicle Theft/Moped/Motorcycle, Other Vehicle: At 8 a.m. June 18, police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Lynchburg St. in reference to a larceny. Known juvenile offender stole motorcycle from yard and was later arrested.

- Motor Vehicle Theft/Stole Auto: At 4 p.m. June 16, police responded to the 1800 block of Trenton St. in reference to stole vehicle. Unknown offender stole vehicle from side of residence. Vehicle later recovered with damage.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 12 a.m. June 16, police responded to the 400 block of S. 15th Ave. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke business glass door with rock.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 10:47 p.m. June 16, police responded to the 1500 block of Piper Square Drive in reference to shots fired. Unknown offender shot a firearm, damaging a wall and window. No injuries.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 11:16 p.m. June 17, police responded to the 400 block of S. 15th Ave. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke business door glass.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 3:15 p.m. June 17, police responded to S. 21st Ave. and Petersburg Ave. in reference to a fight. Multiple unknown offenders vandalized a vehicle with bats, hammers and crowbars.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 10:30 p.m. June 18, police responded to the 1100 block of Wall Ave. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke vehicle window with rock.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 7 p.m. June 18, police responded to the 2800 block of Courthouse Road for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke vehicle window with rock.
