OLD FORGE POLICE: Officers responded to more than 20 calls between July 6-12.
On July 6, officers were dispatched to investigate a threat complaint in the 600 block of South Main Street. A theft complaint sent officers to the 400 block of Dunn Avenue. Officers responded to investigate an animal complaint in the 100 block of Church Street. Officers also responded to assist emergency medical personnel (EMS) with a call in the 200 block of Morton Street.
On July 7, officers were dispatched to investigate a theft complaint in the 300 block of Carbon Street. A report of a suspicious vehicle sent officers to a home in the 600 block of Edith Street.
On July 8, officers were dispatched to investigate a harassment complaint in the 100 block of Connell Street. A domestic dispute sent officers to a home in the 200 block of Railroad Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a reported roadway hazard. Officers responded to assist EMS with a call in the 100 block of Harrison Street.
On July 9, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported theft in the 100 block of Corcoran Street.
On July 10, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a suicidal person in the area of Bridge Street. Officers also responded to check the welfare of children in a home in the 900 block of Wood Street.
On July 11, officers were dispatched to assist EMS with a call in a home in the 600 block of Maple Street. An activated alarm sent officers to a home in the 200 block of West Mary Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a disorderly man causing a disturbance in the 1100 block of Franklin Avenue. Officers were dispatched to serve a protection from abuse order (PFA) in a home in the 300 block of North Keyser Avenue.
On July 12, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a stolen vehicle in the 1300 block of South Main Street. A report of a PFA violation sent officers to a home in the 500 block of Fallon Street. One arrest was made. A report of a disorderly man sent officers to a home in the 500 block of George Street. Officers were also dispatched to a home in the 700 block of Moosic Road to investigate a reported PFA violation.
TAYLOR POLICE: Officers responded to more than 140 calls between June 30 and July 14.
On June 30, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a stray dog in the 100 block of Church Street. A dispute between neighbors sent officers to the 200 block of Atherton Street. Officers were sent to assist the Area on Aging with a call in a home in the 500 block of Powell Street. A harassment complaint sent officers to the Turkey Hill on Keyser Avenue.
Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of Union Street. Officers issued several traffic citations on Oak Street.
On July 1, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of suspicious activity at the Turkey Hill on Keyser Avenue. A report of criminal mischief to a vehicle sent officers to a home on Kennedy Boulevard. A domestic dispute sent officers to a home on Main Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a suspicious person in the 100 block of Ridge Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop on South Main Street. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).
A theft complaint sent officers to a home in the 200 block of Church Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a mental health situation in a home in the 200 block of Union Street.
On July 2, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of South Keyser Avenue. A trespassing complaint sent officers to Derenick Park off of Union Street. Officers were dispatched to investigate a motor vehicle accident (MVA) in the 1500 block of Main Street. A report of a retail theft and property damage complaint sent officers to the Walmart on Main Street.
Officers were sent to investigate a report of illegal narcotics in the 200 block of Bristol Lane. A report of shots fired sent officers to a home in the 200 block of Rinaldi Drive.
