The following information was provided by the Hopewell Police Department.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Outbuilding/Garage: At 12 p.m. July 7, police responded to the 200 block of N. 3rd Ave. for a reported burglary. Unknown offender entered shed by removing lock and stole lawn mower, weed eater, trimmer, ladder, extension cords, clippers and gas cans.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 9:30 p.m. July 7, police responded to the 2300 block of Gordon St. for a reported burglary. Unknown offender entered residence by forcing window and stole TV, jewelry, game system and cell phone.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 9 p.m. July 8, police responded to the 1100 block of Tabb Ave. for a reported burglary. Unknown offender entered residence via unsecured rear door and stole TVs, computer and window a/c unit.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 10 p.m. July 13, police responded to the 1100 block of High Ave. for a reported burglary. Unknown offender entered residence and stole TV, computer, jewelry, cash and shoes.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 12:55 a.m. July 8, police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Western Street and Miles Ave. Driver and passenger were found to be in possession of narcotics and were arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 12:58 a.m. July 9, police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Boston and High Ave. Passenger was found to be in possession of narcotics and marijuana. Petitions pending.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 6:35 p.m. July 10, police conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of S. 5th Ave. Driver was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics and was arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 10:58 p.m. July 10, police made contact with a suspicious subject in the 300 block of E. Broadway. Subject was found to be in possession of narcotics and was arrested.

- Larceny/Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories: At 11:30 a.m. July 12, police responded to the 1500 block of Piper Square Drive for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole vehicle stereo.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 4 p.m. July 9, police responded to the 700 block of Dendron St. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole basketball goal from street.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 12:30 p.m. July 13, police responded to the 400 block of W. Randolph Road for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole cash from purse.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 5 p.m. July 11, police responded to the 2100 block of Lynchburg St. in reference to a larceny. Unknown offender stole firearm from residence.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 2:45 a.m. July 9, police responded to the 300 block of Appomattox St. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender entered unlocked vehicle and stole purse and wallet. Some items later recovered.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 9:30 p.m. July 10, police responded to the 4900 block of Oaklawn Blvd for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole buckets and bottles of oil from open truck bed.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 11 p.m. July 10, police responded to the 600 block of Winston Churchill Drive in reference to a larceny. Unknown offender stole vehicle tags.

- Robbery/Individual: At 12:44 a.m. July 8, police responded to the 300 block of S. 18th Ave. for a reported robbery. Unknown armed offenders stole cell phone and lighter from victim.

- Robbery/Individual: At 6:50 a.m. July 11, police responded to the 3800 block of River Road for a reported robbery. Unknown offender attempted to rob the victim of cash and phone. Nothing stolen and offender fled.

- Stolen Property Offenses: At 8:48 p.m. July 7, police responded to the 200 block of Buckingham Court for a reported stolen vehicle. The vehicle, reported stolen from Danville, was recovered undamaged.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 11 p.m. July 8, police responded to the 2200 block of Freeman St. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke residential window by unknown means.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: AT 3:30 a.m. July 9, police responded to the 500 block of E. Broadway for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender propped open and damaged residential windows. No entry to residence made.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 12 p.m. July 9, police responded to the 300 block of Pleasant Drive for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender scratched vehicle.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 9 p.m. July 11, police were dispatched to the 3900 block of Yorktown for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender kicked residential door, denting storm door and damaging wooden door.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 5 p.m. July 11, police were dispatched to the 100 block of S. 9th Ave. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke vehicle window and damaged windshield with brick.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 12 a.m. July 11, police responded to the 1900 block of Avondale Ave. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke residential window with brick.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 10 p.m. July 11, police responded to the 1500 block of Sunnyside Ave. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender kicked residential screen door, damaging it.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 8 p.m. July 12, police responded to the 3600 block of Settlers Lane for a reported vandalism. Known offender damaged vehicle windshield and was arrested.
