Burglary occurs at rectory in Towanda
Towanda police said they are investigating a burglary that occurred Wednesday morning at the rectory of Ss. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church in Towanda.
Towanda Police Officer Ryan Edsell declined to comment on what was stolen, because it could hurt the investigation.

Edsell said he is not the lead investigator into the burglary and is not sure how the burglar or burglars entered the building. The rectory is located at 106 Third St.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to contact the Towanda Borough Police at (570) 265-2522.
