People charged with harassment
State police at Towanda said a charge for harassment was filed on a 26-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, both from Columbia Cross Roads, following a husband-wife physical altercation that took place at noon Aug. 13 at a residence on South Calaman Lane in Columbia Township.
Police said they both engaged in the physical altercation.
Crossbows taken
A 41-year-old man told state police at Towanda that someone opened the unlocked door of a detached garage sometime between 6 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 2700 block of Bumpville Road in Rome Township and took two crossbows and various motorcycle accessories.
Police said it's unknown if a vehicle was involved in the commission of the crime. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact state police at (570) 265-2186.
TVs taken
Michael John Martin, 46, of Gillett, told state police at Towanda that someone gained access to his residence sometime between 7 p.m. Aug. 15 and 4:30 p.m. Aug. 18 on Roaring Run Road in South Creek Township and stole several items, including three televisions and an XBOX 360.
Police said the incident remains under investigation.
