Hopewell Crime for Sept. 9

The following information was provided by the Hopewell Police Department.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 7 a.m. Aug. 25, police responded to the 2100 block of Cloverdale St. for a reported burglary. Unknown offenders entered residence by forcing sliding door and stole washer and dryer. A shed was also stolen from the rear yard containing power washer, yard equipment, circular saw and tires.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 4:55 a.m. Aug. 30, police responded to the 200 block of Woodbine St. for a reported assault. Known offender forced entry to residence by breaking door glass, assaulted resident and was arrested.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 3 p.m. Aug. 31, police responded to the 1000 block of Arlington Road in reference to a burglary. Unknown offender entered residence by kicking in rear door. Nothing stolen.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 5:30 p.m. Aug. 31, police responded to the 100 block of S. 16th Ave. for a reported burglary. Unknown offender entered residence via window and stole game system, games, DVDs and TV.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 1:30 a.m. Aug. 26, police observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and located the vehicle in the 300 block of S. 13th Ave. after the driver fled. The passenger was located and found to be wanted by several jurisdictions and in possession of narcotics and was arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 5;26 p.m. Aug. 26, police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Arlington Road and Poplar St. Driver was found to be in possession of an illegal narcotic and was arrested.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 12 p.m. Aug. 25, police responded to the 700 block of S. 21st Ave. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole picture from graveside.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 5 p.m. Aug. 25, police responded to the 400 block of N. 10th Ave. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole unsecured bicycle from next to a residence.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 12 a.m. Aug. 27, police responded to the 2600 block of Bassett St. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole unsecured bicycle from in front of residence.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 12 a.m. Aug. 31, police responded to the 200 block of E. Broadway in reference to a larceny that occurred in the 100 block of Ruth Harris St. Unknown offender stole vehicle tag.

- Larceny-Shoplifting: At 5:06 p.m. Aug. 28, police responded to the 5200 block of Plaza Drive for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole lotion from business.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 3 p.m. Aug. 26, police responded to the 3900 block of Robin Hood Drive for a reported larceny. Unknown offender entered unsecured shed and stole firearms.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 5 p.m. Aug. 29, police responded to the 2200 block of Lee st. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender entered unsecured shed and stole bicycle.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 2:30 p.m. Aug. 29, police responded to the 3400 block of Granby St. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole wallet from purse in residence.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 3 p.m. Aug. 30, police responded to the 3400 block of N. Radford Drive for a reported larceny. Unknown offender entered shed and stole antique locks.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 10:30 p.m. Aug. 27, police responded to the 1400 block of Peterson Mill Road for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole weed eater from open truck bed.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 5:45 p.m. Aug. 28, police responded to the 400 block of Westhill Road for a reported larceny that occurred in the 1000 block of Maplewood Ave. Known offender stole purse from vehicle, purse was recovered, missing cash, identity papers and prescription. Offender was later arrested.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 3:42 a.m. Aug. 25, police responded to the 2000 block of Saint Thomas Road for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke residential door glass.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 12 a.m. Aug. 25, police responded to the 2100 block of Lee St. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender damaged residential door by kicking.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 8 a.m. Aug. 26, police responded to the 800 block of Monticello Drive for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke residential window.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 12 p.m. Aug. 26, police responded to the 3300 block of Virginia St. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke locks from shed and garage.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 6 p.m. Aug. 27, police responded to the 2500 block of Petersburg St. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke vehicle windshield.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 8 p.m. Aug. 27, police responded to the 600 block of Atwater Water Road for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke vehicle window.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 11:44 a.m. Aug. 27, police responded to the 500 block of S. 19th Ave. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke vehicle windshield.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 11:30 p.m. Aug. 26, police responded to the 2600 block of Maple St. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke out the left rear window of a parked van.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 4 p.m. Aug. 26, police responded to the 3800 block of Yorkshire Place for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke vehicle side mirror.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 7 p.m. Aug. 26, police responded to the 1800 block of New Lincoln Circle for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender damaged residential a/c unit.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 11:30 a.m. Aug. 28, police were dispatched to the 600 block of Winston Churchill Drive for a reported vandalism. Unknown offenders broke metal gate hinges.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 9:03 a.m. Aug. 30, police responded to the 2200 block of Portsmouth St. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender hit a vehicle with a rock causing damage.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 2:30 p.m. Aug. 31, police responded to the 1400 block of New York Ave. for a reported vandalism. Known offender broke vehicle rear windshield.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 12:45 a.m. Aug. 31, police responded to the 100 block of S. 12th Ave. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke vehicle side mirror.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 11 p.m. Aug. 31, police responded to the 200 block of Waverly St. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke vehicle window.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 12:15 a.m. Aug. 31, police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Oaklawn Blvd. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender glued pennies to table and floor, causing damage.

- Weapon Law Offenses: At 10:33 p.m. Aug. 27, police responded to the 600 block of Eppes St. in reference to a shots fired call. Unknown offender fired shots in roadway. No reported injuries.
