Hopewell Crime for Sept. 14

The following information was provided by the Hopewell Police Department.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Outbuilding/Garage: At 1 p.m. Sept. 2, police responded to the 3000 block of Norfolk St. for a reported burglary. Known offender entered shed by prying off locks and stole various tools and lawn mower and was arrested.

- Drug Equipment Violations: At 11:50 p.m. Sept. 4, police conducted a traffic stop at Lincoln Place and Arlington Road. Driver was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and was arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 3:20 a.m. Sept. 1, police conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Elm St. Driver was operating the motor vehicle on a suspended driver license. Passenger was found to be in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia and was arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 7:09 p.m. Sept. 1, police conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Elm St. Driver was found to be in possession of narcotics and was arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 9:06 p.m. Sept. 2, police conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of S. 14th Ave. Driver as found to be in possession of narcotics and was arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 1:49 a.m. Sept. 2, police conducted a traffic stop at Roanoke Ave. and Granby St. Driver and passenger attempted to elude police, were later apprehended and arrested for a narcotics violation.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 4:40 p.m. Sept. 2, police responded to the 400 block of N. 3rd Ave. for a reported narcotics violation. Offender was found to be in possession of narcotics and was arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 11:20 p.m. Sept. 5, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Miles Ave. Passenger was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics and was arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 2:15 a.m. Sept. 6, police responded to the 1500 block of High Ave. for shots fired. During investigation, a subject was found to be in possession of an illegal substance and was arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 2 a.m. Sept. 6, police conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of City Point Road. Driver was found to be driving under the influence, in possession of marijuana and was arrested.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 7:22 p.m. Sept. 6, police conducted a traffic stop at Winston Churchill Drive and Hercules Road. Driver was found to be in possession of narcotics and was arrested.

- Kidnapping/Abduction: At 6 a.m. Sept. 4, police responded to headquarters in reference to an assault that took place in the 400 block of Davisville Court. Known offender assaulted the victim with fists, held her against her will and was later arrested.

- Larceny/Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts/Accessories: At 6:30 p.m. Sept. 2, police were dispatched to the 800 block of E. Broadway for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole vehicle license plates.

- Larceny-Shoplifting: At 11:25 p.m. Sept. 7, police were called to the 2300 block of Oaklawn Blvd. for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole cologne from business.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 5 p.m Sept. 3, police responded to headquarters for a reported fraud that occurred in the 100 block of S. Main St. Known offender stole ac recovery units, line sets, cell phone and bank card from business. Warrants obtained.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 8 p.m. Sept. 5, police responded to the 900 block of Cousins Ave. for a reported larceny. Known offender stole lottery tickets from business and was arrested.

- Larceny-Theft From Motor Vehicle: At 12:40 p.m. Sept. 5, police responded to headquarters for a reported larceny that occurred in the 300 block of E. Broadway. Unknown offender stole cell phone from vehicle with open windows.

- Possession of Marijuana: At 12 a.m. Sept. 7, police conducted a traffic stop at Winston Churchill Drive and Langston Park Drive. Driver was found to be in possession of marijuana and was arrested.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 10:17 a.m. Sept. 2, police responded to the 2500 block of Atlantic St. for a reported disturbance. During argument, known offender broke vehicle window.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 10 a.m. Sept. 2, police were dispatched to the 100 block of N. 4th Ave. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke residential window.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 9:30 p.m. Sept. 2, police responded to the 600 block of Winston Churchill Drive for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke a vehicle window.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 11:30 p.m. Sept. 3, police responded to headquarters for a reported vandalism that took place in the 1000 block of E. Broadway. Known offender broke vehicle mirror.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 5:45 p.m. Sept. 3, police responded to the 500 block of Cedar Level Road for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender cracked residential door panel.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 3:20 p.m. Sept. 4, police responded to the headquarters for a reported vandalism that occurred in the 100 block of E. Broadway. Three unknown offenders broke courthouse handrail.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 1:58 a.m. Sept. 6, police responded to the 1500 block of High Ave. for a reported of shots fired. Known offender fired shots in parking lot, was found to be in possession of firearm and was arrested. No injuries.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 9:11 a.m. Sept. 6, police were dispatched to freeman St. and Maryville Ave. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender spray painted street.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 12:30 a.m. Sept. 7, police responded to the 3200 block of Elmwood Ave. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender spray painted vehicles, broke vehicle window and punctured tires.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 11 a.m. Sept. 7, police responded to the 3400 block of Oaklawn Blvd. for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender damaged the rear door of a vacant residence.
