Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:
Arthur Bidlack, 39, Barton, N.Y., was sentenced to fines, costs, restitution of $500, and Probation for a term of 12 months, for the offense of Criminal Trespass. Officer Denny Slater of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Bidlack for the offense.
Jimmie Person, 29, Canton, Pa., was sentenced to Probation for a term of 24 months and a fine of $1000, for the offense of Obstructing Administration of Law or other governmental functions. Trooper Jeffrey Sredenschek of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Person following investigation of an incident that occurred in North Towanda Township.
Heather Shaffer, 27, Waverly, N.Y., was resentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for three months to 12 months, and a fine of $750, for the offense of False Identification to law enforcement. Officer Thomas VanFleet of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Shaffer for the offense in February 2014.
Denise Wilson, 47, Wellsburg, N.Y., was sentenced to a term of Probation for a term of 12 months, she was also ordered to pay a fine of $500, for the offense of Criminal Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance.
Deputy Brian Wibert of the Bradford County Sheriff's Department arrested Wilson for the offense in April 2014.
Christopher Walters, 28, Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to a term of Probation for a term of nine months. Walters was also ordered to pay a fine of $250, for the offense of Simple Assault. Officer Sean Flynn of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Walters for the offense in April 2014.
Gary Joslyn, 41, Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for four months to 12 months, and a fine of $1500, for the offense of Simple (possession-bath salts).
Trooper Robert Hutchison of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Joslyn following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.
Justin Vaughn, 25, Berwick, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility for eight months to 36 months, plus 90 days and a fine of $1800, for the offenses of Resisting Arrest, Theft from a Motor Vehicle and Public Drunkenness. Officer Andrew Stevens of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Vaughn for the offense in March 2014.
Dustin Chilson, 23, New Albany, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 90 days to 12 months, and a fine of $1000, for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving while operation Privilege Suspended. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Chilson for the offense in May 2014.
Steve Reeves, 53, Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to a term of Probation for a term of 12 months. Reeves was also ordered to pay a fine of $1000, for the offense of Possession with Intent to Manufacture. Trooper Robert Hutchison of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Reeves following investigation of an incident that occurred in Monroe Township.
Desiree Thoubburon, 41, Phoenix, Ariz., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 45 days, and a fine of $1500, she will also lose her driver's license for 18 months. An additional license suspension of 18 months will be imposed for refusal to submit to testing when arrested for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol a misdemeanor of the first degree. Trooper David Sweeney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Thoubburon following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox Township on Sept. 12, 2013.

Kelly Place, 35, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, an ungraded felony. Place will be sentenced on Oct. 27, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Michael Adams of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Place following investigation of an incident that occurred in Franklin Township.
Chaz Talada, 18, Columbia Crossroads, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Robbery, a felony of the second degree. Talada will be sentenced on Oct. 27, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Nathan Lewis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Talada following investigation of an incident that occurred in Smithfield Township on May 15, 2014.

David Newenschwander, 23, Grand Prairie, Texas, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on Probation, Newenschwander, will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Newenschwander must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper Robert Edgerton of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Newenschwander for the offense in Monroeton Borough on April 19, 2014.
Shane Case, 32, Troy, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Case will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug of alcohol use. Additionally, Case must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper Tyler Brackman of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Case for the offense in Burlington Township on March 3, 2014.
Kevin McKenzie, 35, Middletown, Conn., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. Additionally, Harkness must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and Harkness will lose Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper William McDermott of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Harkness for the offense in Sheshequin Township on May 5, 2014.

Derek Johnson, 43, Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility for 60 days, fines and costs of $200 for the offense of Harassment. The sentence was made consecutive to a sentence imposed for other offenses. Johnson also pled guilty to other case charges.
Lindsey Bashore, 20, Lockwood, N.Y., was sentenced to fines, costs, restitution of $280 and Probation for a term of 12 months for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Bashore following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.
Jason Tripp, 34, Troy, Pa., was sentenced to fines, costs, of $1500 plus restitution of $1525 and State Intermediate Punishment of 24 months, for the offense of Criminal Trespass, and Theft by Unlawful Taking.
Trooper Miranda Musick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Tripp following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wyalusing Township.
Paul Ragan, 25, Monroeton, Pa., was sentenced to fines, costs, restitution of $250 and Probation for a term of 12 months for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Ragan for the offense in March 2014.
Paul Ragan, 25, Monroeton, Pa., was sentenced to fines, costs, restitution of $500 and Probation for a term of 18 months for the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking. Officer John Fedorchak of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Ragan for the offense in April 2014.
Bryon Bailey, 30, Towanda, Pa., was resentenced to fines, costs, restitution of $500 and State Intermediate Punishment of 24 months for the offense of Terroristic Threats. Officer Derrick Kelley of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Bailey for the offense in May 2009.
Bryon Bailey, 30, Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to fines, costs, restitution of $750 and State Intermediate Punishment for 24 months for the offense of Possession of designer Drugs. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Bailey following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough.
Bryon Bailey, 30, Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to a term of State Intermediate Punishment of six months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol. Trooper William McDermott of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Bailey following investigation of an incident that occurred in Monroe Township.
Christopher MacNeal, 27, Waverly, N.Y., was sentenced to Probation for a term of 24 months and a fine of $500 for the offence of Simple Assault. Officer Andrew Stevens of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested MacNeal for the offense in March 2014.
David Lattimer, 22, Sayre, Pa., was resentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 45 days to 12 months and a fine of $250 for the offense of Receiving Stolen Property.
Officer Timothy Cahill of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Lattimer for the offense in June 2010.
Lester Walters, 35, Athens, Pa., was sentenced to Probation for a term of 12 months and a fine of $300 for the offense of Simple Assault. Officer George Nichols of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Walters for the offense in June 2014.
Raymond Woodcock, 28, of Monroeton, Pa., was sentenced to Probation for a term of six months and a fine of $300 for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol. Trooper David Sweeney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Woodcock following investigation of an incident that occurred in Monroe Township.
Emily Benjamin, 24, Towanda, Pa., was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of probation to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional facility for 15 days to 23 month, 29 days and a fine of $100 and restitution of $182 for the offense of Theft by Deception, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Officer Thomas Wilson of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Benjamin for the offense on Oct. 11, 2011.
Teresa Hongach, 47, Rome, Pa., was resentenced following revocation of a sentence of probation to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 15 days to 12 months and a fine of $100. She will also lose her driver's license for six months, for the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Hongach following investigation of an incident that occurred on Windham Township.
Derek Johnson, 43, Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility for 14 months to 36 months; he will also lose his driver's license for 12 months for the offense of Reckless Endangering, Accident Involving Damage (hit and run) and Driving while Under Suspension. Officer Ryan Edsell of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Johnson for the offense in February.

Officer Joshua Heckman of the Canton Police Department arrested Brown for the offense on July 2013.
Danice Saxbury, 21, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of a Controlled Substance (Drug), a misdemeanor. Saxbury will be sentenced on Oct. 30, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Bryan Bellows of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Saxbury for the offense in April.
Jessica Kepner, 28, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Kepner will be sentenced on Oct. 30, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Daniel Thomas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Kepner for the offense in June.

Potter will be sentenced on Oct. 27, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. David Spencer, 34, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Indecent Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Spencer will be sentenced in 90 days, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Sergeant David Lantz of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Spencer for the offense in June 2010.

Randy Trible, 26, Meshoppen, Pa., charged with the offense of Corruption of Minors, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 18 months. While on probation Trible will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Trible must perform 60 hours of community service. Trooper Brandon Allis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Trible for the offense.
