PFA order violated

State police at Towanda said Suann Nicole Dyar, 32, of Columbia Cross Roads violated a PFA order at 6:10 p.m. Sept. 21 on Seymour Drive in Columbia Township by showing up at the residence of a 37-year-old Columbia Township man.

Police said she was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark of Towanda and released on non-monetary bail.

Woman cited

State police at Towanda said Kodi Jo Thomas, 28, of Towanda Township, was cited for disorderly conduct after she was in her underwear in the Dandy Mini Mart parking lot at 12:29 p.m. Sept. 21 in Burlington Borough.

Police said she was causing a public inconvenience for Dandy Mini Mart employees and patrons.

Scheme to defraud investigation leads to arrests

Waverly police recently arrested Michael T. Irish, 45, and Tonia L. Irish, 40, of Towanda, for the misdemeanor charge of scheme to defraud and misdemeanor issuing bad check(s) on a closed bank account.

Michael T. Irish was also charged with misdemeanor petit larceny and misdemeanor bail jumping in the third degree.

Both issued numerous checks on a closed bank account to Village of Waverly business in December of 2013. Warrants of arrest were issued for both of them.

Tonia Irish was arrested on Aug. 13, at the Lackawanna Prison and Mike Irish was arrested at the Bradford County Jail on Sept. 18.

Both were extradited to the Tioga County Jail following their arrest.

Failure to disclose ID results in charges

Coty M. Cron, 27, of Waverly, was arrested for misdemeanor obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree, at 12:40 a.m on Sept. 14.

He was arrested following investigation into a disturbance in the parking lot of a local business on Broad Street, Waverly. Cron is accused of refusing to identify himself in any way to police during the incident. Cron was issued an appearance ticket to appear at 4 p.m. on Sept. 18, in the Village of Waverly Justice Court.

DWI arrest made

On Sept. 13, John J. Storelli Jr., 41, of Waverly, was arrested for misdemeanor DWI and aggravated DWI. He was also cited for the traffic violations of failing to stop at a stop sign and refusing a breath test device.

Storelli was arrested following a traffic stop by the police at 1:34 a.m. on Garfield Street, Waverly.

Storelli was released to appear at 4 p.m. on Sept. 24, in the Village of Waverly Justice Court.

Suspicious vehicle call results in outstanding warrant arrests

Tiffany M. Chandler, 22, of Lockwood, was arrested on a bench warrant for misdemeanor petit larceny. Chandler was wanted by the Ontario County, N.Y. Sheriff's Department.

She was located and arrested at a local Waverly business following investigation into a report of suspicious activity in the parking lot.

Arrested at the same time was Julien S. Jenkins, 26, who was wanted on a bench warrant from the Geneva, N.Y. City Police for failing to pay a fine imposed by a court.

The time and date for both arrests was 1 p.m., Sept. 10.

Both Chandler and Jenkins were taken into custody without incident and released to the wanting police agencies.

Charges filed after domestic incident

Casey R. Seymour, 22, of Athens, was arrested for misdemeanor obstruction of breathing and the violation of harassment in the second degree following police investigation into a physical domestic incident at a Waverly residence that occurred at 2:08 p.m. on Sept. 14.

Seymour was issued an appearance ticket to answer the allegations at 4 p.m. on Sept. 25 in the Village of Waverly Justice Court.

Burglary reported in Pike Township

At some point between July 30 and Aug. 6, an unknown person or persons entered a rental residence on Gotham Road in Pike Township and removed a work light and antique wooden clock. An investigation into this burglary is underway by the Pennsylvania State Police. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at (570) 265-2186 or 800-4-PATIPS. Information resulting in an arrest may qualify for an up to $2000 reward.
