District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported the following recent criminal case resolutions in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

SENTENCED

Zachary Martin, 23, Coplay, Pa., was sentenced to Probation for a term of 24 months and a fine of $500.00, for the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking. Trooper Mark Sadowski of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Martin following investigation of an incident that occurred in October in Sheshequin Township.

Jordan Bardo, 25, Canton, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility from four days to six months, and a fine of $1000.00, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol. Officer Joshua Heckman of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Bardo for the offense on March 2013 in the Canton Borough.

Damien Kirkey, 23, Dundee, N.Y., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility from five months to 23 days, 29 days, and a fine of $500.00, for the offense of Burglary. Trooper Miranda Musick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kirkey following investigation of an incident that occurred in Armenia Township.

Darren Killian, 18, Canton, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility from 72 hours to six months, and a fine of $750.00, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol-Minor. Officer Joshua Heckman of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Killian for the offense in June 2013.

Tyler Sibley, 20, Towanda, Pa., was re-sentenced following revocation of a sentence of Probation to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility from 45 days to 12 months and a fine of $200.00, he will also lose his driver's license for six months for the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Sibley following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Robert Coles Jr., 44, Canton, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility from 28 days to six months and a fine of $1000.00; he will also lose his driver's license for 12 months for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Corporal Norman Strauss of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Coles following investigation of an incident that occurred in Canton Township on March 12, 2014.

GUILTY PLEAS

Henry Bothwell, 47, Stevensville, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a ungraded misdemeanor. Bothwell will be sentenced on Nov. 20, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper William McDermott of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Bothwell following investigation of an incident that occurred in Stevens Township.

Cari Winslow, 32, Bath, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Recklessly Endangering Another Person, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Winslow will be sentenced on Nov. 20, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Winslow for the offense in February 2014 in Towanda Borough.

Daniel Bellows, 27, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, an ungraded misdemeanor. Bellows will be sentenced on Nov. 20, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Nathan Ross of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Bellows for the offense in March 2014 in Sayre Borough.

Suzanne Allen, 34, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree and Resisting Arrest, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Allen will be sentenced on Nov. 20, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Richard Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Allen for the offense in May 2014 in Athens Township.

Robert White, 50, Monroeton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. White will be sentenced on Nov. 6, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested White following investigation of an incident that occurred in Franklin Township.

Donna Upton, 65, New Albany, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Theft, a misdemeanor of the third degree.

Upton will be sentenced, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Officer Patrick Butkiewicz of the Laceyville Borough Police Department arrested Upton for the offense on May 17, 2014 in Wyalusing.

Andrew Rogers, 21, Nichols, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Access Device Fraud, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Rogers will be sentenced on Nov. 6, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Eric Keir of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Rogers for the offense on Sept. 27, 2013.

Lacey M. Benson, 24, Canton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Hindering, a misdemeanor of the second degree.

Benson will be sentenced on Nov. 24, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Trey Kurtz of the Canton Police Department arrested Benson for the offense in May. Benson falsely told the officer that two men he was trying to arrest were not in her home.

Samantha Laudenslager, 23, Troy, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance, a Felony. Laudenslager will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officers of local departments working with the Bradford County Drug Task Force arrested Laudenslager for the offense in July.

Barbara C. Kennedy, 46, Canton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Kennedy will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Frank Naughton of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kennedy following investigation of an incident that occurred in Canton Township.

Barbara C. Kennedy, 46, Canton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of delivery of a Controlled Substance (Heroin) (four counts) and Possession with Intent to Deliver, all felonies. Kennedy will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officers Larry Hurley and Albert Ogden, local police working with the Bradford County Drug Task Force Department, arrested Kennedy for the offenses.

Tyler Vanderpool, 20, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Aggravated Indent Assault, a felony of the second degree. Vanderpool will be sentenced following preparation of presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department and a report by the sexual offender assessment board. Trooper Sean Cooney of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Vanderpool following investigation of an incident that occurred in Monroeton Township.

Armand Ruest, 41, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Reckless Burning, a felony of the third degree and Recklessly Endangering, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Ruest will be sentenced on Nov. 24, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Timothy Cahill of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Ruest for the offense on Feb. 22, 2013.

William Wade, 44, Tillar, Ark., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Wade will be sentenced on Nov. 24, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper James Dughi of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Wade following investigation of an incident that occurred in Burlington Township, March 31, 2014.

Brandon Smith, 18, Canton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession Small Amount of Marijuana, a misdemeanor. Smith is to pay a fine of $150.00, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Jeffrey Creedon of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Smith following investigation of an incident that occurred in Canton Township.

David Krause, 48, Milan, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Krause will be sentenced on Nov. 24, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Peter Smith of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Krause following investigation of an incident that occurred in Ulster Township on May 30, 2014.

Arthur Medina, 32, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree and Driving under Suspension, a summary offense. Medina will be sentenced on Nov. 24, 2014, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Bruce Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Medina for the offense on March 27, 2014.

Kelly Voorhees, 35, Granville, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Voorhees will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Trey Kurtz of the Canton Police Department arrested Voorhees for the offense on May 27, 2014.

Randall Frey, 43, Granville Summit, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor and Driving without a License, a summary offense. Frey will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Michael Tribendis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Frey following investigation of an incident that occurred in Granville Township on June 21, 2014.

ACCELERATED REHABILITATIVE DISPOSITION (ARD)

Franklin Mott, 56, Sayre, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Mott will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Mott must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer Nathan Ross of the Sayre Borough Police Department filed the charges on March 22, 2014 for the offense in Sayre Borough.

Charles Sanders, 36, Wyalusing, Pa., charged with the offense of Home Improvement Fraud, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 24 months. While on probation Sanders will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Sanders must perform community service and pay restitution of $12,257.00. Officer John Fedorchak of the Athens Township Police Department filed the charges in 2013-2014, for the offense in Athens Township.

Corey Roof, 24, Wysox, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Roof will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Roof must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days. Trooper William McDermott of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Roof for the offense.

Edward Belcher, 51, Granville Summit, Pa., charged with the offense of Defrauding Secured Creditors, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Belcher will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Belcher must perform 40 hours of community service. Deputy David Hart of the Bradford County Sheriff's Office filed the charges on Aug. 28, 2013 for the offense in Towanda Borough.

Jacquelyn Belcher, 53, Monroeton, Pa., charged with the offense of Defrauding Secured Creditors, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Belcher will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Belcher must perform 40 hours of community service. Deputy David Hart of the Bradford County Sheriff's Office filed the charges on Aug. 28, 2013 for the offense in Towanda Borough.
