Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons recently entered pleas of guilty in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pennsylvania:
Jonathan M. Applebee, 26, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of a Controlled Substance. Applebee will be sentenced on Aug. 29, 2013. Trooper Kevin Hibson of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Applebee for the offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox Township.
Steven T. Nemeth, 43, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Conspiracy to Commit Possession of a Controlled Substance. Nemeth will be sentenced on Aug. 26, 2013. An Agent of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Nemeth for the offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough.
Roy F. Kelley, III, 40, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Resisting Arrest. Kelly will be sentenced on Aug. 26, 2013. Officer Josh Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Kelley for the offense in April 2013.
Joseph M. White, 28, Millerton, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Aggravated Assault. White will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Nathan Lewis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested White for the offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wells Township.
Steven Taylor, 34, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Corruption of Minors. Taylor will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Ryan Edsell of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Taylor for the offense in August 2012.

Matthew E. Sanders, 35, Towanda, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 30 days to six months, and a fine of $300, for the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 12 months. Trooper Wayne Dunkling of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Sanders for the offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wyalusing Township.
Christopher W. Clark, 28, Canton, PA, was resentenced, following revocation of his original sentence of probation for violation of probation conditions, to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from six months to 23 months, and a fine of $300, for the offense of conspiracy to commit burglary. Clark was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $2171. Trooper James B. Kerrick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested for the offense Clark following investigation of an incident that occurred in Canton Township.
Todd A. Belles, 24, Troy, PA, was sentenced to a total term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from 33 months to eight years, and fines totaling $450, for two counts of the offense of Theft From a Motor Vehicle and a single count of Receiving Stolen Property; his total sentence also includes a term of imprisonment for Simple Assault from an earlier case in which his original sentence of probation was revoked. Belles was also ordered to pay restitution in the total amount of $760.51. Officers Steven Burlingame and Newton Condict of the Athens Township Police Department and Timothy Cahill of the Athens Borough Police Department were each involved in one or more of Belles' arrests for the offenses.
Thomas E. Pittman, 30, Elmira, NY, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from 15 months to four years for the offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Pittman was also ordered to reimburse the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of $250 for money used to purchase a controlled substance in connection with his arrest, and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for six months. An Agent of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Pittman following investigation of an incident that occurred in Sayre Borough.
Samantha J. Partridge, 23, Towanda, PA, was resentenced, following revocation of her original sentence of probation for violation of probation conditions, to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from two months to 18 months for the offense of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. Partridge was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $500. Trooper Wayne Dunkling of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Partridge for the offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wyalusing Borough.
Olivia May Stroud, 35, Wysox, PA, was sentenced to probation for a term of 18 months, and a fine of $300, for the offense of delivery of a Controlled Substance. Stroud was also ordered to reimburse the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of $50 for money used to purchase a controlled substance in connection with her arrest, and she will lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for six months. An agent of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Stroud following investigation of an incident that occurred in Standing Stone Township.
Robert C. Fansler Jr., 50, Wyalusing, PA, was sentenced to County Intermediate Punishment for 36 months with 95 days imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility followed by probation for the remainder of the term, and a fine of $1,500, for the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Fansler will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 12 months. Trooper John Kern of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Fansler for the offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in Albany Township.
Brett M. Cooley, 24, Falls, PA was resentenced, following revocation of his original sentence of probation, to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from three months to 23 months, 29 days, and a fine of $300, for the offense of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Theft by Unlawful Taking. Trooper Brian Atherholt of the PA State Police arrested Cooley following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wyalusing Borough.
Sheila Simpson, 57, Sayre, PA was sentenced to probation for a total a term of 18 months, and fines totaling $200, for the offenses of Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct. Sergeant Daniel Reynolds of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Simpson for the offenses in November 2012.
District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were recently accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) Program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:
Collin T. Larson, 19, St. Cloud, MN, charged with the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol in March 2013 by Officer Bryan Bellows of the Towanda Borough Police Department, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Larson will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Larson must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel as conditions of ARD placement; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 90 days.
