Pipe damaged

State police at Towanda said someone damaged an exterior water pipe that runs along the roadway sometime between 6 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Nov. 10 on Lookout Road in Columbia Township.

Police said the victim is Talisman Energy of Horseheads, N.Y., and anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact state police at Towanda at (570) 265-2186.

Man suffers major injury

State police at Towanda said Chris E. Seymour, 51, of Gillett, had a major injury in a crash at 6:09 p.m. Nov. 9 on Roaring Run Road in South Creek Township.

Police said he was traveling west and lost control of his Chevrolet Trailblazer, which struck a tree on the northern side of the roadway.

Police said he was charged for a violation of "driving vehicle at safe speed."

No injuries

State police at Towanda said Franklin Tillotson of Canton was not injured in a crash at 12:53 p.m. Nov. 13 on Southside Road in LeRoy Township.

Police said he was traveling west in his Buick LeSabre, which drifted off the road and struck a mailbox, causing disabling damage to the passenger side front wheel. It came to final rest facing west in the westbound travel lane of Southside Road.

Junior's Towing assisted at the scene, police said.

No one injured

State police at Towanda said Lavern Jordan Wagler, 22, of Ulster, was not injured in a one-vehicle crash at 6:04 p.m. Nov. 13 on Lake Road, approximately three-quarter of a mile north of Hollenback Road, in Rome Township.

Police said Wagler was traveling north when he lost control on a right curve of his Honda Civic, which traveled off the east shoulder and struck a tree. It sustained disabling damage as a result of the crash. The vehicle was towed, police said.

Police said a charge for a violation of "driving on roadways laned for traffic" was filed on Wagler through District Court 42-3-04.

One injured

State police at Towanda said Willis McCauley, 77, of Rome, had a moderate injury in a one-vehicle crash at 10:54 a.m. Nov. 14 on Battle Creek Road, one-half mile north of Route 187, in Rome Township.

Police said McCauley lost control of his Nissan Murano for unknown reasons and traveled off the east shoulder, over a steep embankment, and struck a tree with the front-end of the vehicle. It rolled over onto its roof, and sustained disabling damage and was towed.

Police said McCauley was transported to Robert Packer Hospital for medical treatment.

According to police, a charge for a violation of "driving on roadways laned for travel" was filed on McCauley through District Court 42-3-04. The Rome Volunteer Fire Department and Fire Police, Memorial EMS, and Benjamin's Towing assisted.

Man charged with suspicion of DUI

State police at Towanda said a 26-year-old Gillett man is being charged with suspicion of DUI after admitting to taking six cold and flu pills and then driving to another residence to pick up tires at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 12 on Route 14 in Troy.

Police did not identify the man.

Fight reported

State police at Towanda said four people were charged with one count each of harassment after engaging in a fight at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 12 at a location on Route 14 in Troy Township.

Police said those who were charged are John Baptist Garino, 26, of Gillett; Bernard Travis Baker, 32, of Troy; a 15-year-old Troy male juvenile; and Daniel Thomas Breese, 20, of Troy.

Police also listed Garino and Baker as victims in the incident.

Woman charged with DUI

State police at Towanda said charges were filed against Sherryann C. Levindoski, 46, of Troy Township, for DUI following a one-vehicle crash at 9:59 a.m. Nov. 12 on Coolbaugh Hill Road in Granville Township, in which she was involved.

While police interviewed Levindoski at Robert Packer Hospital, she shows signs of intoxication, police said.

DUI crash

State police at Towanda said Tonya Lynn Schrader/Cummings, 44, of Canton, operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and lost control, resulting in a crash at 7:45 p.m. Sept. 12 on Bailey's Corners Road at Bunyon Hill Road in Granville Township.

No injuries reported

State police at Towanda said a crash occurred at approximately 6:15 a.m. Nov. 6 on the Berwick Turnpike in Burlington Township.

Police did not identify the driver.

According to police, the driver was traveling south, went through a right-hand turn, and saw a deer in the roadway. The driver swerved to avoid hitting the deer and lost control of the vehicle, when he tried to bring it back into his lane of travel. Police said the Chevrolet Cobalt spun approximately 90 degrees and slid into an embankment. Police said the vehicle was winched onto the roadway by Junior's Towing and driven from the scene.

The Smithfield Township Volunteer Fire Department also assisted at the scene.

Man not injured in crash

State police at Towanda said William A. Jenkins, 46, of Columbia Cross Roads, was not injured in a one-vehicle crash at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9 on Route 14 in Troy Township.

Police said he was traveling north and struck a deer. Police said his Ford Explorer had heavy front passenger side damage and was towed by Junior's Towing.

No injuries when vehicle strikes deer

State police at Towanda said the driver was not injured in a crash at 7:51 p.m. Nov. 7 on Route 6 in Burlington Township in which a Jeep Liberty struck a deer.

Police did not identify the driver.

According to police, the deer entered the roadway from the eastbound lane and crossed the roadway into the westbound lane, where the vehicle struck the deer. Police said the vehicle had minor damage and was able to be driven from the scene.

People not injured

State police at Towanda said no one was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 5:36 p.m. Nov. 5 on Route 6 in Wysox Township.

According to police, drivers involved in the crash were Joseph Weber of Frederick, Colo. and Leslie Porter of Towanda.

Police said Weber was traveling west and Porter was driving east. Weber turning left into Flynn Beverage, and was trying to cross over the eastbound lane of travel. While making the left turn and partially in the eastbound lane, Weber's vehicle struck Porter's vehicle, police said.

Both vehicles could be driven from the scene, police said.
