Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons recently entered guilty pleas and were sentenced in Bradford County Magisterial District Courts:

David Daniels, 30, Troy, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Theft, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and was sentenced to 13 days and court costs. Trooper Robert Richter of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Daniels for the offense on July 8, 2014, following investigation of a theft that occurred in Monroeton Township.

Scott Woodruff, 39, Monroeton, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to eight days and court costs. Officer Ryan Edsell of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Woodruff for the offense on June 5, 2014, following investigation of a Possession of Drug Paraphernalia that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Chadwick Buynak, 34, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Criminal Mischief, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to, restitution of $3300, and court costs. Officer John Werner of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Buynak for the offense on June 22, 2014; following investigation of a criminal mischief that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Joshua Woodruff, 20, Wysox, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Theft, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to a fine of $100, restitution in the amount of $130 and court costs. Trooper Terence Foley of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Woodruff for the offense on Sept. 15, 2013, following investigation of a Theft that occurred in New Albany Borough.

David Bennett, 47, Ulster, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to 29 days and court costs. Trooper Tyler Brackman of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Bennett for the offense on Oct. 21, 2014, following investigation of a Possession of Drug Paraphernalia that occurred in Franklin Township.

David Stedge, 24, Sayre, PA, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a summary offense and was sentenced to a fine of $200 and court costs. Officer Roger Clink of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Stedge for the offense on September 15, 2014, following investigation of a Disorderly Conduct that occurred in Athens Township.

William Sutton III, 32, Sayre, PA entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge, Michael Shaw, to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to 30 days, and court costs. Officer Richard Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Sutton for the offense on Oct. 5, 2014, following investigation of a Possession of Paraphernalia that occurred in Athens Township.

Stephanie Greene, 24, Elmira, NY, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge, Michael Shaw, to the offense of Retail Theft, a summary offense and was sentenced to a fine of $150, and court costs. Officer Thomas Vanfleet of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Greene for the offense on November 4, 2014, following invesitagation of a Retail Theft that occurred in Athens Township.

Samantha Bacon, 21, Sayre, PA, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge, Michael Shaw, to the offense of Retail Theft, a summary offense and was sentenced to a fine of $300, and court costs. Officer Richard Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Bacon for the offense on Oct. 12, 2014, following invesitagation of a Retail Theft that occurred in Athens Township.

Michael Johnson, 21, Sayre, PA, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge, Michael Shaw, to the offense of Retail Theft, a summary offense and was sentenced to a fine of $300, and court costs. Officer Jason Serfas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Johnson for the offense on Oct. 12, 2014, following invesitagation of a Retail Theft that occurred in Athens Township.

Rex Peters, 25, Laceyville, PA entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge, Michael Shaw, to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to 10 days, and court costs. Officer Bryan Bellows of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Peters for the offense on July 17, 2014, following investigation of a Possession of Paraphernalia that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Luis Martinez, 32, Towanda, PA entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Timothy Clark, to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to a fine of $50 and court costs. Officer Bryan Bellows of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Martinez for the offense on July 17, 2014, following investigation of a Possession of Paraphernalia that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Jayde Vanderpool, 20, Lockwood, NY, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge, Michael Shaw, to the offense of Driving w/out License, a summary offense, and Disorderly Conduct, also a summary and was sentenced to a fine of $200.00, and court costs. Officer Roger Clink of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Vanderpool for the offense on Sept. 11, 2014, following investigation of a Disorderly Conduct that occurred in Athens Township.

Brandy Eakins, 31, Granville Summit, PA, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge, Jonathan Wilcox to the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to time served and court costs. Trooper Tyler Brackman of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Eakins for the offense on March 20, 2014, following investigation of a possession that occurred in West Burlington Township.

Jordan N. Frisbie, 21, Waverly, NY, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge, Fred Wheaton, to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to 30 days in the Bradford County Correctional Facility and court costs. Trooper Christopher Schelling of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Jordan for the offense on July 23, 2014, following investigation of an incident that occurred in Rome Township.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following person was recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Robert Stumph Jr, 35, of Sayre, PA was sentenced to imprisonment in a State Prison for 18 months to 72 months, fines of $3000, for three convictions for Indecent Assault. Each offense was a misdemeanor of the first degree. Stumph, Jr will be a lifetime registered sex offender. Officer Steven Burlingame of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Stumph, Jr for the offenses in May 2014. Stumph, Jr was sentenced on three cases in the same sentencing proceeding. Each case involved a different victim.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Cynthia Hammell, 39, of Towanda, Pa., was resentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for five days to 18 months, fines, costs, restitution of $500 and costs, plus $250 and restitution, for the offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a felony. Trooper Michael Adams of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Hammell following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough and Township.

Charles Makinster, 49, Gillett, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility for 30 days to six months and a $1,000 fine plus costs, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Trooper Robert Edgerton of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Makinster following investigation of an incident that occurred in Ridgebury Township.

Ryan Hunsinger, 19, Sayre, Pa., was resentenced to Probation supervision for a term of 12 months, and a fine of $250, for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Officer Nathan Ross of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Hunsinger for the offense in June 2012.

Ryan Hunsinger, 19, Sayre, Pa., was resentenced to Probation supervision for a term of 12 months, and fines of $250, for the offense of Default in Required Appearance, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Officer Brian Wibirt of the Bradford County Sheriff's Office arrested Hunsinger for the offense in November 2013.

Ryan Hunsinger, 19, Sayre, Pa., was resentenced to Probation supervision for a term of 12 months, and fines of $250, for the offense of Receiving Stolen Property, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Officer Nikki Hoffman of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Hunsinger for the offense in November 2013.

Larry Harbst, 26, of Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for seven days to six months and fines of $1,000 plus costs, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Trooper James Dughi of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Harbst following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox Township.

Larry Harbst, 26, of Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility for 90 days (flat), County Intermediate Punishment for 24 months, County Intermediate Punishment involves a combination of restrictions and supervision. It may include home confinement, electronic monitor, and substance abuse treatment. Violation can result in incarceration. Harbst was arrested for the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Trooper Robert Hutchison of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Harbst following investigation of an incident that occurred in North Towanda Township.

Tina Linsenmann, 37, of Ulster, Pa., was sentenced to Probation supervision for a term of 12 months and fines of $250.00 and restitution of $979.97, for the offense of Criminal Mischief, a misdemeanor of the third degree.

Trooper Robert Edgerton of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Linsenmann following investigation of an incident that occurred on Litchfield Township.

Joshua Vanderpool, 23, of Wysox, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility for two months to 24 months, and fines of $1,000, for the offense of Criminal Trespass, a felony of the third degree. Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Vanderpool following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox Township.

Kelly Place, 35 of Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 21 days to 23 months, 29 days, a fine of $1,000, plus court costs for the offense of Possession with Intent to Deliver/Manufacture, a felony. Trooper Michael Adams of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Place following investigation of an incident that occurred in Franklin Township.

Ashley Pollox, 25, of Sayre, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to 12 months and fines of $1,000 and restitution of $220; she will also lose her driver's license for 12 months for the offense of Driving under Influence, a misdemeanor, Theft by Deception, misdemeanor second defense. Officer Derek Dekar of the Athens Borough Police and Officer Steven Burlingame of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Pollox for the offense on Sept. 13, 2014, and Jan. 13, 2014.

Shawn Bunce, 35, of Spencer, N.Y., was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 45 days and State Intermediate Punishment for 24 months; State Intermediate Punishment is a two year program. It begins with at least seven months of regular state prison, followed by custody in a drug/alcohol addiction center, followed by restricted living in a residential program. The prison administration must be satisfied that the prisoner has made progress in rehabilitation from substance abuse. If not, the prisoner will be dismissed from S.I.P. and resentenced. Bunce will pay fines of $1,500; he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree.

Officer Bruce Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Bunce for the offense on Feb. 22, 2014.

Pamela Bennett, 32, of Erin, N.Y., was sentenced to Probation supervision for a term of 24 months; defendant did 83 days incarceration, fine of $300 and court costs, for the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer Roger Clink of the Athens Township Police department arrested Bennett for the offense on Aug. 8, 2014.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons recently entered pleas of guilty in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Jacob Gilbert, 33, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Gilbert will be sentenced on Jan. 29, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Andrew Stevens of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Gilbert for the offense in July 2014.

Michael Maslov, 66 LeRaysville, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Indecent Exposure, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Maslov will be sentenced on Jan. 29, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Kyle Gruber of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Maslov following investigation of an incident that occurred in Pike Township.

Jared Keeney, 34, Scranton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Theft of Leased Property, a felony of the third degree. Keeney will be sentenced on Jan. 29, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Nate Lewis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Keeney following investigation of an incident that occurred in Terry Township.

Daniel Doty, 31, Canton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Doty will be sentenced on Jan. 29, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Tyler Brackman of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Doty following investigation of an incident that occurred in Troy Township.

Dannielle Leskoven, 23, Monroeton, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Conspiracy/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a felony. Leskoven will be sentenced on Jan. 29, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Agents of the Pennsylvania Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Leskoven following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox Township.

Justin Hayslett, 47, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Indecent Assault, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Hayslett will be sentenced and have a court ordered SOA evaluation, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Timothy Cahill of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Hayslett for the offense in August 2014.

Anthony Stone, 26, Gillett, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Stone will be sentenced on Jan. 29, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Michael Northrup of the Troy Borough Police Department arrested Stone for the offense on Aug. 19, 2014.

Harold Perry, 41, Troy, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Perry will be sentenced on Jan. 29, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Tyler Brackman of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Perry following investigation of an incident that occurred in Ridgebury Township.

Ashley Pollox, 25, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Pollox will be sentenced on Jan. 29, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Derek Dekar of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Pollox for the offense on Sept. 13, 2014.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were recently accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:

Douglas Weinman, 21, Towanda, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and place on Probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Weinman will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally Weinman must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 90 days. Trooper Jeffrey Creedon of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Weinman for the offense on June 22, 2014, in Monroe Township.

Frank Chapman, 34, Waverly, N.Y., charged with the offense of Driving under Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on Probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Chapman will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally Chapman must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days. Officer Andrew Stevens of the Athens Borough Police Department filed the charges on Aug. 25, 2014, for the offense in Athens Borough.
