Vehicle flees scene
According to state police, two people in an unknown vehicle were traveling east on State Route 514 approaching State Route 414 at approximately 7:20 p.m. on Dec. 24 in Franklin Township. The driver of the vehicle ran through a stop sign at the intersection and struck a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix that was parked in its owner's driveway. The unknown vehicle then fled the scene, traveling east on State Route 414.
Police investigating alleged rape
According to state police, a juvenile Tunkhannock female was recently the victim of rape that occurred on Dec. 12 in Towanda. The investigation is ongoing.
Man arrested for DUI following crash
A Wyalusing man was recently arrested for driving under the influence following a crash that occurred on Dec. 13 in Monroe Township.
According to state police, Ian Michael Campbell, 31, was driving on Woodside Road when his 2001 GMC Yukon traveled off the roadway and struck trees. Upon investigating the crash, police arrested Campbell for DUI.
Charges were filed at the office of Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark.
