MOOSIC POLICE: Officers responded to more than 200 calls between Jan. 18 and Feb. 7.
On Jan. 18, officers were dispatched to investigate activated alarms on school and Joyce streets. A hit-and-run accident sent officers to a home in the 800 block of Davis Street. Officers also investigated a parking complaint in the 3300 block of Birney Avenue.
On Jan. 19, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported assault at Oakwood Terrace on Gleason Drive.
On Jan. 20, officers were dispatched to investigate a retail theft at the Turkey Hill on Birney Avenue. A motor vehicle accident (MVA) sent officers to the 4600 block of Birney Avenue. A dog complaint sent officers to the 200 block of Main Street.
On Jan. 21, officers were dispatched to investigate an animal complaint in the 4100 block of Birney Avenue.
On Jan. 22, officers were sent to an MVA in the 1100 block of South Main Street.
On Jan. 23, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported water main break on Birney Avenue. A fraud complaint sent officers to a home in the 3300 block of Cedar Avenue.
On Jan. 24, officers were dispatched to investigate a reported theft from a motor vehicle in the 4900 block of Birney Avenue. An activated alarm sent officers to Glenmaura National Boulevard. Officers responded to a similar call in the 2100 block of Shoppes Boulevard. Officers were also sent to investigate a report of a disorderly person in the 3700 block of Winfield Avenue.
On Jan. 25, officers responded to investigate a harassment complaint in a home in the 500 block of Minooka Drive. A retail theft complaint sent officers to a home in the 3300 block of Birney Avenue. Officers were dispatched to investigate a dog complaint on Columbia Street. Officers were sent to assist emergency medical services (EMS) on Fitzgerald Drive.
On Jan. 26, officers responded to investigate a report of an activated alarm in the 3700 block of Birney Avenue.
On Jan. 27, officers were dispatched to investigate an activated burglar alarm at Glenmaura National Gulf Club.
On Jan. 28, officers were dispatched to investigate a harassment complaint in the 900 block of School Street. A criminal mischief complaint sent officers to a home on Preate Drive. Officers responded to assist a stranded motorist in the 800 block of Birney Avenue. Police were sent to investigate a harassment complaint in the 3300 block of Birney Avenue. An MVA sent officers to the Shoppes at Montage.
On Jan. 29, officers were dispatched to investigate a road rage incident in the 3600 block of Wylam Avenue. A domestic dispute sent officers to the Moosic Motor Inn on Birney Avenue.
On Jan. 30, officers were sent to an MVA in the 3300 block of Pittston Avenue. A similar call sent officers to the 600 block of Rocky Glen Road. Police were dispatched to a dog complaint in the 3300 block of Birney Avenue. An MVA sent officers to the 4600 block of Pittston Avenue. Officers responded to assist EMS with a call in the 3700 block of Laurel Lane.
An MVA sent officers to the 4600 block of Birney Avenue. Officers were sent to investigate a reported assault in the 600 block of River Street.
On Jan. 31, officers were dispatched to investigate a disabled vehicle on Davis Street. Officers also responded to activated alarms on Alpine Drive and Glenmaura Boulevard.
On Feb. 1, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 600 block of Park Street.
On Feb. 2, officers were dispatched to investigate a domestic dispute in the 1100 block of Water Street. An MVA sent officers to the 4100 block of Birney Avenue. Police were sent to investigate a parking complaint in the 100 block of Main Street.
A parking complaint sent officers to Ash Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).
On Feb. 3, officers were dispatched to investigate a report of downed railroad gates at Main and Third streets. Officers were sent to investigate a complaint of lost property in the 4100 block of Birney Avenue. Multiple MVAs sent officers to Birney Avenue and Main streets.
On Feb. 4, officers were sent to investigate a domestic dispute in the 4100 block of Birney Avenue. An MVA sent officers to the same area of Birney Avenue. Officers were sent to a home in the 400 block of Fourth Street.
On Feb. 5, officers were sent to investigate a reported lockout in the 500 block of Gleason Drive. An activated alarm sent officers to a home in the 100 block of Joyce Drive.
On Feb. 6, officers were dispatched to investigate a hit-and-run call in the 2300 block of Shoppes Boulevard. A retail theft sent officers to the 3500 block of Birney Avenue. An MVA sent officers to the 1000 block of Glenmaura Drive.
On Feb. 7, officers were dispatched to investigate an activated alarm in the 900 block of School Street. A report of downed wires sent officers to the 700 block of Main Street.

TAYLOR POLICE: Officers responded to more than 45 calls between Feb. 3-8.
On Feb. 3, officers were dispatched to assist the fire department with a call in a home in the 100 block of Union Street. A theft complaint sent officers to the Riverside High School. Police were sent to investigate an allegation of child abuse in a home in the 600 block of West Taylor Street. A motor vehicle accident (MVA) sent officers to the intersection of Loomis Avenue and North Main Street.
Police responded to investigate a complaint of damaged property in the 400 block of West Atherton Street. A report of a domestic dispute in progress sent officers to a home in the 100 block of South Washington Street. Police also responded to an MVA involving a deer in the 100 block of South Keyser Avenue.
On Feb. 4, officers were dispatched to investigate an activated alarm at Winner’s Circle on Main Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Union Street. Police also assisted emergency medical services (EMS) with a call in the 200 block of South Main Street.
On Feb. 5, officers were dispatched to an MVA in the intersection of Main and Davis streets. A similar call sent officers to South Washington and Main streets.
On Feb. 6, officers were dispatched to conduct a welfare check inside a home in the 300 block of South Main Street. Officers were sent to the Riverside High School on Davis Street to conduct an investigation. Police also conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Main Street. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
On Feb. 7, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of South Main Street. A parking complaint sent officers to the 1300 block of Main Street.
Police were dispatched to issue an arrest warrant in the 600 block of West Taylor Street. Officers responded to an MVA in the intersection of Donny Drive and Mary Circle. A report of a domestic dispute in progress also sent officers to the Walmart on Main Street.
On Feb. 8, police were sent to assist the fire department with a structure fire in the 100 block of North Main Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the Walmart parking lot. During the stop, officers were able to serve an arrest warrant on the driver. Police also responded to an activated burglar alarm at Winner’s Circle on Main Street.
