Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons recently entered guilty pleas and were sentenced in Bradford County Magisterial District Courts:
Joshua Brown, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a summary offense and was sentenced to a fine of $75, and court costs. Trooper Steve Steransky of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Brown for the offense on Feb. 6, 2015, following investigation of a Disorderly Conduct that occurred in Towanda Township.
Shane Rowe, 41, Ulster, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to 10 days and court costs. Trooper Michael Tereska of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Rowe for the offense on June 29, 2014, following investigation of an assault that occurred in Sheshequin Township.
William Colbath, 49, Elmira, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Theft from a Motor Vehicle, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to a fine of $100.00, and court costs. Trooper Steve Steransky of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Colbath for the offense of Theft that occurred in Burlington Township.
James Yates, 39, Towanda, Pa., entered pleas of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Criminal Trespass, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and was sentenced to a fine of $100, and court costs. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Yates for the offense on Nov. 8, 2014, following the investigation of a Criminal Trespass that occurred in Towanda Borough.
William Kelsey, 41, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Harassment, a summary offense, and was sentenced to 12 days incarceration and court costs. Officer Nate Ross of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Kelsey for the offense on Jan. 29, 2015, following the investigation of Harassment that occurred in Sayre Borough.

Thomas Hulslander, 21, Canton, Pa., was sentenced to Probation supervision for a term of 12 months plus three months, fines of $250 plus court costs, for the offense of Harassment, a summary offense and Defiant Trespass, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Officer Trey Kurtz of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Hulslander for the offenses in December 2014.
Heather Norton, 20, Canton, Pa., was sentenced to Probation supervision for a term of 15 months, fines of $250 plus court costs, for the offense of Harassment, a summary offense and Defiant Trespass, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Officer Trey Kurtz of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Norton for the offense in December 2014.
Aaron Bennett, 30, of Wysox, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 60 days, fines, costs, restitution of $80, for the offense of Criminal Mischief, a summary offense and Harassment also a summary offense. Trooper Mark Sadowski of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Bennett following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox Township.
Edward Lichtenfels, 22, of Towanda, Pa., was resentenced to a term of imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility of 60 days, followed by County Intermediate Punishment for 22 months. County Intermediate Punishment involves a combination of restrictions and supervision. It may include home confinement, electronic monitor, and substance abuse treatment - violations can result in incarceration - fines, costs, and restitution of $250, for the offense of Criminal Attempt (Receiving Stolen Property), a misdemeanor of the second degree. Sergeant David Lantz of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Lichtenfels for the offense on Dec. 10, 2014.
Paul Ragan, 26, Monroeton, Pa., was resentenced to imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility for one month, 15 days to 18 months, fines, costs, and restitution of $750, for the offense of Theft, a misdemeanor of the first degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Officer John Fedorchak of the Athens Township Police Department and Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Ragan for the offense in April-May 2014.
Sarah Frock, 29, Athens, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 30 days to six months, fines, costs, and restitution of $750, she will also lose her driver's license for 12 months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Officer Timothy Cahill of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Frock for the offense on Sept. 30, 2014.
Robert Carriker, 58, Sayre, Pa., was sentenced to Probation supervision for a term of six months, fines, costs, and restitution of $500, he will also lose his driver's license for six months, for the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Carriker following investigation of an incident that occurred in Ridgebury Township on Oct. 15, 2014.
Angelina Hilton, 20, of Granville Summit, Pa. was sentenced to Probation supervision for a term of 12 months, fines, costs, restitution of $200, for the offense of a Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the first degree.
Sergeant Keith Stackhouse of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Hilton for the offense on Sept. 3, 2014.
Gregory Seip, 21, Millerton, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility for 48 hours to six months, fines, costs, and restitution of $750, he will also lose his driver's license for 12 months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Trooper Gabriel Paduck of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Seip following investigation of an incident that occurred in Troy Township on July 25, 2014.
Zachary Chance Etka, 24, of Midlothian, Va., was sentenced to imprisonment in Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility for 46 months to 96 months, fines, costs, restitution of $1,000. Etka was convicted of Robbery, Conspiracy and other charges at a jury trial before Judge Beirne in November. The other charges in the verdicts were merged into the robbery and conspiracy counts. Trooper Nathan Lewis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Etka following investigation of an incident that occurred in Smithfield Township. The robbery occurred in May at the C&N Bank in East Smithfield. Etka and Chaz Talada were arrested at the Dandy Minimart near Wellsburg, N.Y., shortly after the robbery. Talada was sentenced in January 2015.

Andrew Ciardi, 36, of Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Ciardi will be sentenced on April 2, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Nathan Ross of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Ciardi for the offense in December 2014.
Rodney Randall, 33, Nichols, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, a felony. Randall will be sentenced on April 13, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Bruce Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Randall for the offense in December 2014.
Michael Marcoccia, 53, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Marcoccia will be sentenced on April 13, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Corey McClinko of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Marcoccia for the offense on Sept. 25, 2014.
John Schwartzbauer, 30, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Schwartzbauer will be sentenced on April 13, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Bruce Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Schwartzbauer for the offense on July 3, 2014.
Josseph Goodman Jr., 48, Sayre, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of Resisting Arrest, a misdemeanor of the second degree, Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor, Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and Criminal Mischief, a summary offense. Goodman will be sentenced on April 13, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer George Nichols, Officer Sean Flynn and Officer Steven Burlingame all of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Goodman for the offenses in September and November 2014.

Jennifer Terrell, 22, Sayre, Pa., charged with the offense of Simple Assault, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of six months. While on probation Terrell will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Terrell must perform 40 hours community service. Officer Jeremy Horton of the Sayre Borough Police Department filed the charges on Dec. 17, 2014 for the offense in Sayre Borough.
Jeffrey Frisbie, 22, Gillett, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Frisbie will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally Frisbie must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Chief Larry Hurley of the Athens Township Police Department filed the charges in November 2014 for the offense in Athens Township.
David Roberts, 32, Troy, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Roberts will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Roberts must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper Christopher Schelling of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Roberts for the offense.
Corey Wilbur, 23, Canton, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Wilbur will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Wilbur must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer Trey Kurtz of the Canton Borough Police Department filed the charges in November 2014, for the offense in Canton Borough.
Brendan Kealey, 19, Waterville, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Kealey will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Kealey must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 90 days. Trooper Steven Steransky of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kealey for the offense.
Suzanne Vannoy, 45, Canton, Pa., charged with the offense of Theft, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Vannoy will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally Vannoy must perform 40 hours community service. Trooper Terence Foley of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Vannoy for the offense.
