Athens man charged in connection with stolen vehicle
Devin L. Hubert, 19, of Athens, has been charged with corruption of a minor after stealing a vehicle with a 17-year-old boy, police said.
According to police, the owner of the truck called 911 after seeing his truck drive up the street and pursued the truck in his other vehicle.
Police said the victim reported two individuals were in the truck and traveling at about 70 miles per hour toward state Route 17C.
Police took over pursuit of the truck, which ignored lights and sirens from Sayre and Waverly police, police said.
Police said after a short pursuit on the Broad Street Extension in Waverly, the truck stopped and the driver and Hubert were arrested.
Hubert has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Mike Shaw on March 31 for his preliminary hearing.
Theft occurs in Ridgebury
Police said Jason Eric Garey, 39, of Sayre, had his cell phone stolen from his residence on Feb. 5 at about 10:59 p.m.
According to police, the actor was inside Garey's residence and stole his black Samsung Galaxy S4 cell phone that was sitting on his kitchen counter.

Sayre man charged with theft
Timothy Hampton, 23, of Sayre, was charged with theft by unlawful taking after selling a video game system for a cell phone, police said.
Hampton borrowed an Xbox video game system with the permission of an acquaintance's father around November and December, police said.
Police said Hampton traded the Xbox for an iPhone 3 cell phone with a Nichols man.
Hampton was sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Mike Shaw on March 31 for his preliminary hearing.
Theft and criminal mischief occur in Milan
Several items were missing from a Milan man's residence and vehicle after a domestic dispute between him and the suspect on Feb. 14 at about 12:30 p.m., police said.
Stanley Hartranft, 49, of Milan, also reported aluminum foil was shoved into the ignition switch of his vehicle and possibly sugar was added to his fuel tank, police said.
According to police, the suspect is a 47-year-old woman from Truxton, N.Y.

No one injured in Ridgebury three-car crash
A car ran into a trailer that was backing into a driveway, causing a third vehicle to crash into a ditch on the Berwick Expressway in Ridgebury Township on Feb. 13 at about 6:48 p.m.
George W. Updyke, 56, of Troy crashed into the trailer of Ryan L. Holton, 30, of Gillett, while Holton was backing his trailer into a driveway, police said.
According to police, Updyke did not see the trailer, which was in Updyke's lane.
Police said the third vehicle, driven by Dawn M. Updyke, 53, of Troy, saw the collision and moved to avoid another collision.
Police said Dawn Updyke then crashed into a ditch, disabling the vehicle.
Police said all drivers were wearing seatbelts and no one was injured.
Holton was cited for failure to display lights on the trailer.
