Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons recently plead guilty and were sentenced in Bradford County Magisterial District Courts:
Blaine Boyer, 25, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Possess of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to a fine of $100, and court costs. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Boyer for the offense on Dec. 17, 2014, following investigation of a Possession of Drug Paraphernalia that occurred in Towanda Township.
Todd Putnam, 30, Wysox, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton to the offense of Harassment, a summary, and was sentenced to a fine of $100 and court costs. Trooper Peter Federici of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Putnam for the offense on Feb. 20, 2015, following investigation of a harassment that occurred in Wysox Township.
Todd Putnam, 30, Wysox, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton to the offense of Harassment, a summary offense, and was sentenced to a fine of $100 and court costs. Trooper Robert Edgerton of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Putnam for the offense in Feb. 7, 2015, following investigation of a harassment that occurred in Wysox Township.
Emily Ahlstrom, 19, Athens, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to a fine of $300 and court costs. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Ahlstrom for the offense in Sept. 10, 2014, following investigation of a Possession of Drug Paraphernalia that occurred in Athens Borough.
Brian Vanderpool, 22, Wellsburg, W.Va., entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Timothy Clark, to the offense of Harassment, a summary offense, and was sentenced to a fine of $75, and court costs. Trooper Michael O'Boyle of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Vanderpool for the offense on Dec. 25, 2014, following investigation of an assault that occurred in Burlington Township.
Dustin Westbrook, 30, Burlington, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Timothy Clark, to the offense of Harassment, a summary offense, and was sentenced to a fine of $75 court costs. Marvin Brotzman, 30, no address, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Timothy Clark to the offense of Theft, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and was sentenced to 10 days, restitution of $52, and court costs. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Brotzman for the offense on Feb. 13, 2015, following investigation of a theft that occurred in Towanda Borough.
Jack Stroud, 33, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Timothy Clark, to the offense of Theft, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and was sentenced to a fine of $100 and court costs. Officer Bryan Bellows of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Stroud for the offense on Feb. 10, 2014, following investigation of a theft that occurred in Towanda Borough.
Russell Mathews, 23, Franklinville, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Timothy Clark, to the offense of Harassment, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and was sentenced to 10 days and court costs. Trooper Jeffrey Creedon of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Mathews for the offense on Jan. 6, 2015, following investigation of a harassment that occurred in Ulster Township.
Jason Roach, 33, VanEtten, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Timothy Clark, to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia that occurred in Towanda Township.
Susan Graham, 56, Columbia Crossroads, PA, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Jonathan Wilcox, to the offense of Harassment, a summary offense, and was sentenced to a fine of $200 and court costs. Trooper Michael O'Boyle of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Graham for the offense on Feb. 16, 2015, following investigation of a harassment that occurred in Columbia Crossroads.
Michael Deninger, 42, Philadelphia, Pa., entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Jonathan Wilcox to the offense of Harassment, a summary offense, and was sentenced to 12 days in the Bradford County Correctional Facility and court costs. Trooper Keith Roman of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Deninger for the offense on Feb. 13, 2015, following invesitagation of a harassment that occurred in Canton Township.

Donald L. Seeley Sr., 59, Elkland, Pa., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility for 28 months to 84 months, fines, costs, restitution of $1,000, for the offense of two convictions for Indecent Assault upon minors. Seeley will be a lifetime registered sex offender as a result of the convictions. Trooper Miranda Musick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Seeley following investigation of an incident that occurred in Springfield Township.
Chad Baynak, 34, Waverly, N.Y., was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for two months to 12 months, fines, costs, restitution of $200, plus costs, for the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Officer Richard Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Baynak for the offense in October 2014.
Matthew Dunn, 33, Troy, Pa., was sentenced to probation supervision for a term of nine months, fines, costs, restitution of $250 plus costs, for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Trooper Christopher Stecik of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Dunn following investigation of an incident that occurred in South Creek Township.
Kamry Smiley, 24, South Waverly, Pa., was resentenced to a term in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a flat 30 days, followed by County Intermediate Punishment for 23 months. County Intermediate Punishment involves a combination of restrictions and supervision. It may include home confinement, electronic monitor, and substance abuse treatment. Violation can result in incarceration. Smiley will pay fines, costs, restitution of $250 plus costs for the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Officer Jason Serfas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Smiley for the offense in March 2014.
Kamry Smiley, 24, South Waverly, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a flat 30 days, followed by County Intermediate Punishment. Cameron Solometo, 25, Elmira, N.Y., was resentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility from 90 days to 12 months, fines, costs, restitution of $300, plus costs, for the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer Denny Slater of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Solometo for the offense in October 2009.
Patrick Firestine, 21, Sayre, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 45 days flat, fines, costs, restitution of $225 plus court costs, for the offense of Harassment and Criminal Mischief, both summary offenses. Officer Jeremy Horton of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Firestine for the offense in October 2014.
John Perry Jr., 32, Covington, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility for 74 days to 12 months, fines and costs of $500 plus restitution of $6,000, for the offense of Theft, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Trooper Thad Warnick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Perry following investigation of an incident that occurred in Ridgebury Township.
Clayton Forbes, 18, Ulster, Pa., was sentenced to probation supervision for a term of 12 months, fines and costs of $400, restitution of $363, for the offense of two counts of Theft by Deception, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Trooper Mark Sadowski of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Forbes following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.
Albert Harvey, 39, Rome, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 15 days to 12 months, fines, costs, restitution of $500, for the offense of Obstructing Administration of Law, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Trooper Kyle Gruber of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Harvey following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.

Kipling will be sentenced on April 2, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer George Nichols of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Kipling for the offense on Dec. 3, 2014.
William Schrader, 63, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Schrader will be sentenced on April 13, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Keith Roman of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Schrader following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.

Paul Craig, 34, Sayre, Pa., charged with Simple Assault, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of six months. While on probation, Craig will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Officer Jeremy Horton of the Sayre Borough Police Department filed the charges in December 2014 for the offense in Sayre Borough.
Faith VanDyke, 39, Sayre, Pa., charged with Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, VanDyke will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, VanDyke must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel; she will also lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days. Officer Andrew Stevens of the Athens Borough Police Department filed the charges in Nov. 23, 2014, for the offense in Athens Borough.
Jacklyn Brown, 32, Sayre, Pa., charged with Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Brown will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Officer Thomas VanFleet of the Athens Township Police Department filed the charges in Nov. 23, 2014, for the offense in Athens Township.

Suann Dyar, 34, Columbia Crossroads, Pa., entered a plea of nolo contendere/no contest to Unauthorized Use a Motor Vehicle, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Dyar will be sentenced on April 13, 2015, following preparation of a pre-sentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. A no-contest plea is entered where the defendant cannot recall the event but will be held guilty and sentenced. Trooper Peter Smith of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Dyar following investigation of an incident that occurred in Columbia Township.
