DUI charges
The following people were recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:
Phillip Stephen Cosilmon, 25, of Athens, by Athens Borough Police, on Feb. 28 on North Main Street in Athens Borough. Cosilmon was also charged with having an open container in his vehicle. A blood test later revealed Cosilmon's blood alcohol content to be .121 percent and also revealed THC in his system. Cosilmon has been issued a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw on April 24 for his preliminary hearing.
Micah Joseph Trowbridge, 27, of Sayre, by Athens Borough Police, on March 1 on North Elmira Street in Athens Borough. Trowbridge was also charged with driving on the wrong side of the roadway. A blood alcohol test later revealed Trowbridge's blood alcohol content to be .17 percent. Trowbridge has been issued a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw on April 24 for his preliminary hearing.
Sayre man charged in Walmart theft
Patrick Joseph Henderson, 24, of Sayre, was charged with retail theft after stealing several items from the Sayre Walmart, Athens Township Police said.
On Feb. 14, Henderson was seen taking a cart of merchandise into the Walmart restroom where it appeared he put some of the items in a diaper bag that he also picked up while in the store, police said.
Walmart's asset protection associate said Henderson left the store without attempting to pay for the items, according to police.
On Feb. 12, police said Henderson did the same thing and took five pack of beef jerky.
According to police, the total amount of merchandise stolen on both dates was $402.16, with one of the stolen items being an ASUS tablet.
The asset protection associate notified police that Henderson would be receiving a Notice of Trespass from Walmart headquarters and will not longer be allowed in the Elmira Street store.
Henderson has been issued a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw on May 5 for his preliminary hearing.
Sayre man charged with drug, paraphernalia possession
Robert Clark Garris III, 18, of Sayre, was charged with marijuana and paraphernalia possession, according to Athens Borough Police.
Police said Garris was charged after police stopped a vehicle he was riding in and found a cellophane wrapper with a green leafy substance that field tested positive for marijuana.
Police also found a Mountain Dew bottle with the bottom cut and burnt residue on the bottle.
Garris has been issued a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw on May 5 for his preliminary hearing.
Theft in Ulster
A concrete pig statue was stolen from an Ulster home on March 24 between 10 a.m. and 3:15 p.m., state police said.
Police said James Donovan, of Ulster, said the perpetrator took the statue and fled in an unknown direction.

One injured in Sheshequin accident
According to state police, Eric F. Eberlin, 24, of Milan, was injured after hitting a Kenworth dump truck with the 2000 Ford Escort he was driving.
Police said on March 26, Eberlin was turning left onto Sheshequin Road off of Bridge Street in Ulster.
Eberlin pulled out in front of the dump truck, driven by Lee S. Jackson, 49, of Troy, and collided with the dump truck, police said.
Police said both drivers were wearing seatbelts, but Eberlin suffered minor injuries.
The Ford required towing, police said.
Eberlin was cited for failure to obey stop and yield signs.
