Scattering rubbish occurs in Wysox
State police said they are trying to determine who deposited multiple bags of garbage near the tree line of the Wysox Fire Hall baseball field.
This scattering of rubbish occurred sometime between 8 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Suspect steals $80 in N. Towanda
State police are trying to find the white male suspect who took $80 that someone had recently left behind at the Dandy Mini Mart on Reuter Boulevard in North Towanda Township.
The money belongs to 24-year-old Chase Brown of Gillett, who had withdrawn the money from the store's ATM and then became preoccupied, so that he left the store without retrieving his money from the dispenser, police said.
The theft occurred at 12:04 p.m. on May 28, police said.
Snow plow equipment stolen in N. Towanda
State police said they are trying to determine who stole $9,108 worth of various sized snow plow cutting edges that were left unsecured on Bradco Supply Co.'s property on Old Mills Road in North Towanda Township.
The theft occurred at approximately 11 p.m. on May 27, state police at Towanda said.
Towanda resident cited for harassment
Kelly M. Ackley, 30, of Towanda shoved 34-year-old Bobbi Jo Thorton of Towanda after they had been arguing, state police said.
This incident occurred at approximately 5:13 p.m. on May 29 at a location on Summit Road in North Towanda Township, police said.
As a result of this incident, Ackley has been cited for the summary offense of harassment, police said.
State police described Thorton as the "victim" in this incident.

Theft by deception occurs in Wysox Twp.
A black female purchased two iPhones from the Verizon Wireless dealership in Wysox Twp. using a counterfeit Pennsylvania driver's license, police said.
The theft occurred at 4:59 p.m. on April 7, state police said.

Theft occurs in Towanda Twp.
State police said they are tying to determine who cut a catalytic converter from a Flynn Energy vehicle and then stole the catalytic converter.
The theft occurred at 270 Shiner Rd. in Towanda Township, police said.
State police at Towanda said they investigated the theft at 1:42 p.m. on May 22.
Vehicle strikes utility pole in Cherry Twp.
Robert E. Meade, 55, of Dushore was uninjured when he was involved in a recent motor vehicle accident in Cherry Township, Sullivan County police said.
The accident occurred at 6:35 a.m. on May 27 as Meade was traveling north on state Route 487, police said.
Meade failed to negotiate a left curve and his vehicle struck a Frontier telephone pole and a number of trees, state police at Laporte said.
Theft occurs in Wysox Twp.
State police at Towanda said they are trying to determine who stole personal paperwork, including birth certificates and vehicle titles, from Alexandria Nez's camper in Wysox Township.
The theft occurred sometime between 8:15 p.m. on May 8 and 6:30 p.m. on May 9.
Theft occurs in Burlington Twp.
State police said they are trying to determine who stole a chainsaw from Lamarr Cloud Alexander's garage at 2155 Franklindale Rd. in Burlington Township.
The chainsaw was an orange and white Stihl MS 170 model.
State police said they investigated the theft at 1:20 p.m. on May 19.

Boat stolen in Towanda Township
State police said they are trying to determine who stole a boat that belongs to Leslie Bump of Towanda.
The theft occurred sometime between 10 p.m. on May 19 and 9:30 a.m. on May 20 at a location on Bridge Street Hill Road in Towanda Township.

Theft in Orwell Twp.
State police are investigating a report of theft that occurred on June 1 at approximately 10 a.m. on State Route 467 in Orwell Township.
Police said an unknown person stole a handicap parking placard out of a vehicle owned by Ollin Evans, 83, of Rome.
