Water pump stolen in Fox Twp.

Someone recently stole a Honda water pump that belongs to Precision Pipeline at a location along state Route 4002 in Fox Township, Sullivan County, police said.

The theft occurred sometime between 4 p.m. on June 6 and 9 a.m. on June 9, state police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Laporte at (570) 946-4610.

Law enforcement credential is missing

A U.S. Food and Drug Administration law enforcement credential has been lost or stolen in the area of Sullivan or Northumberland counties, police said.

The credential is for the FDA's Tobacco Compliance Enforcement Division, state police said.

Anyone who comes across this law enforcement credential is asked to contact the state police at Laporte at (570) 946-4610.

Theft occurs in Cherry Twp.

State police said they are trying to determine who stole several items from a truck tractor that was parked at the Aerian Energy Services parking lot on U.S. Route 220 in Cherry Township.

The items that were stolen are two GPS systems, a Sirius radio, and a red toolbox containing various hand tools, police said.

These items belong to Thomas White of Dushore and Jonathan Stead of Muncy Valley, state police said.

The theft occurred sometime between 7:30 a.m. on June 5 and 5:30 p.m. on June 6, police said.

Towanda woman charged in theft

Nadine M. Riccobene of Towanda has been charged with receiving stolen property and theft by unlawful taking or disposition, police said.

The charges stem from an incident in which a necklace was stolen at the Best Western hotel in North Towanda Township on April 22 or April 23, police said.

The necklace belongs to Michelle Prendergast of Philadelphia, who was staying at the hotel, police said. The necklace is valued at $1,512, police said.

Riccobene, 50, was arraigned by Athens Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw on May 27.

Riccobene's preliminary hearing, which was originally scheduled to take place in Towanda District Court on June 3, has been postponed to June 17.
