Vandalism occurs in Wysox Twp.

State police said they are trying to determine who committed an act of vandalism recently at Middendorf Homes on U.S. Route 6 in Wysox Township.

Sometime between noon on June 27 and 8 a.m. on June 30, someone broke two vinyl spindles on a porch railing on a show home at the site, police said.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the state police at Towanda at (570) 265-2186.

Theft occurs at Wysox Twp. residence

Amber Muzzy of Wysox reported that she left her residence in Wysox Township for approximately five days and, upon returning, found that a number of items had been stolen from her residence, police said.

The stolen items included a Playstation 2, Beats by Dre headphones, and an Xfinity tablet, state police said.

The theft occurred sometime between 4 p.m. on June 22 and 7 p.m. on June 26, state police said.

Man injured in Wysox Township accident

Jesse M. Zenewicz, 34, of Rome suffered minor injuries in a motor vehicle accident that occurred at 4:35 p.m. Saturday in Wysox Township, police said.

Zenewicz was driving west on Route 6 when he lost control of his vehicle, which traveled off the north side of the road and struck an embankment, police said.

Zenewicz was cited for driving at an unsafe speed, police said.

The accident occurred 197 feet east of Red Rock Road, state police at Towanda said.

Three injured in Towanda Twp. crash

Three people were injured in a motor vehicle accident that occurred on U.S. Route 220 in Towanda Township, police said.

Nicholas S. Sufleta, 22, of Warrington, Pa., was driving north on Route 220 when he lost control of his vehicle on a left curve, police said.

Sufleta's 1994 Toyota Camry left the roadway and struck a tree, police said.

Sufleta and his two passengers - 21-year-old Schuyler S. Stevens of Towanda and 21-year-old Douglas J. Weinman of Towanda - all suffered moderate injuries, police said. All three were transported to local hospitals for evaluation and medical treatment, police said.

Sufleta was cited for driving at an unsafe speed, state police at Towanda said.

The accident occurred three-tenths of a mile north of Patton Hill Road, police said.

Columbia Cross Roads woman injured in crash

Meghan C. Hotaling, 25, of Columbia Cross Roads, suffered a minor injury in a motor vehicle accident in Wysox Township, police said.

Hotaling was traveling east on U.S. Route 6 when she allowed her Chevrolet Impala to travel off the south side of the roadway, police said.

The vehicle struck a ditch and a group of mailboxes, state police said.

Hotaling's passenger, 39-year-old Greg D. Coleman of Warren, Texas, was uninjured, police said.

The accident occurred at 1 a.m. on June 3, four-tenths of a mile east of state Route 187, police said.

Hotaling was cited for careless driving, state police at Towanda said.
