Brake lines cut in Camptown

State police are investigating a report of criminal mischief relating to an incident that occurred between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. on June 30 on Church Street in Camptown, Wyalusing Township.

Police said an unknown person cut brake lines to a truck belonging to Dennis Reeve, 23, of Wyalusing.

SUV crash in Albany Twp.

Jose L. Garcia, 35, of Pharr, Texas, has been charged with a traffic offense relating to a one vehicle accident that occurred at 4:52 a.m. on June 29 on State Route 220 in Albany Township.

According to police, Garcia lost control of a 2004 Ford Expedition for unknown reasons and hit an embankment on the east side of the roadway.

The vehicle then crossed both lanes of travel and hit a guardrail, police said.

Garcia was not injured during the accident. He was the lone occupant of the vehicle.

Vandals loot and damage Warren Twp. cabin

An unknown person or persons entered a cabin owned by a 62-year-old man from New Jersey and stole numerous items sometime between the dates of June 17 and July 1, according to a press release from state police.

Police said several items were stolen during the burglary, including a shotgun, BB gun, food and beverages and a five gallon gas can. The actor or actors damaged electric items in the cabin by cutting off power cords and also sprayed a fire extinguisher throughout the interior of the residence.

Firearm stolen

State police are investigating a theft from a motor vehicle after an unknown person stole a firearm belonging to Justin Brown, 23, of Rome sometime between June 26 and June 29, police said.

The firearm was stolen out of the truck while it was parked in a driveway on Merry Go Round Road in Windham Township, or while it was parked at the Walmart in Athens, police said.

Cabin burglary in Warren Twp.

An unknown person broke into a cabin sometime between June 9 and July 3 at its location on Painter Road in Warren Township.

According to police, an unknown person entered the cabin, which is owned by Frank Woodbury Miller, 76, of Brooklyn, N.Y., and stole miscellaneous items from the residence.

Police said the actor or actors gained entrance by breaking a window.

Criminal trespass in New Albany

Tiffany Walter, 21, of New Albany has been charged with criminal trespass after she allegedly refused to leave a property on Front Street in New Albany.

State police said the property owner, Desiree Murdock, 32, of New Albany told Walter to "stop hanging out with her juvenile son" and Walter remained in her yard.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. on June 28.

Truck batteries stolen from PennDOT

State police are investigating a report of theft relating to an incident that occurred sometime between July 2 and July 6 at a PennDOT property located on State Route 706 in Wyalusing Township.

According to police, an unknown person or persons stole three "3100 heavy duty truck batteries."

Towanda man charged with assault

Michael Joseph Davis, 54, of Towanda has been charged with simple assault and harassment, police said.

The charges stem from a July 2 incident in which Davis punched a female several times, injuring her lip and left eye and causing bruises on her arm and back, police said.

The incident occurred in Towanda Borough, Towanda police said.

Davis, who lives on North Main Street, was arrested and arraigned by Towanda Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark. Davis was then sent to the Bradford County jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Towanda woman charged with theft

Megan Rae Fairchild, 36, of Towanda is accused of stealing a wall-mounted air freshener from a restroom at Larnard-Hornbrook County Park in Sheshequin Township, according to the Bradford County Sheriff's Office.

The air freshener, which is valued at $10, was stolen on June 15, according to the Sheriff's Office.

As a result of this theft, Fairchild has been charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition and receiving stolen property, according to the Sheriff's Office.

DUI charges

The following people were recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:

Michelle Brown, 31, of Towanda, by the Towanda police, on April 29, at the Dandy Mini Mart on Main Street in Towanda. Brown, who lives on Main Street, was involved in a non-reportable motor vehicle accident.

Nicholas Joseph Sufleta, 22, of Warrington, Pa., by the state police, on June 11, on U.S. Route 220 in Towanda Township. Sufleta was in a motor vehicle accident, and a blood test showed that his blood alcohol content was .132 percent on the day of his arrest.

Gary Edward Benjamin II, 24, of Towanda, by the state police, on May 25, on U.S. Route 220 in Ulster. A blood test showed that Benjamin's blood alcohol content was .156 percent on the day of his arrest, and the test showed there was also Delta-9 THC and Delta-9 Carboxy THC in his blood.
