Accident occurs in Cherry Township
Molly T. Desmond, 20, of Painted Post, N.Y., suffered a moderate injury in a motor vehicle accident that occurred at 5:15 p.m. Sunday on Hochberg Road in Cherry Township, Sullivan County, police said.
As Desmond was driving east on Hochberg Road, her vehicle left the roadway, overturned and struck a tree, state police at Laporte said.
Monroeton man being cited for harassment
On Wednesday, 32-year-old Timothy Joseph Johnson Jr. of Monroeton headbutted, punched and shoved a 17-year-old individual, police said.
The incident occurred at a location on Brocktown Road in Monroe Township, police said.
As a result of this incident, Johnson is being cited for harassment, state police at Towanda said.
Burglary occurs in Dushore
A burglary occurred sometime between June 7 and July 1 at a residence on Carpenter Street in Dushore, Sullivan County, police said.
Someone entered the residence and stole money belonging to a 72-year-old man, state police said.

Man charged after driving with stolen license plate in Towanda
Valentin Sitas, 56, of Canton RR1 has been charged with receiving stolen property, Towanda Borough police said.
Towanda Borough police said they pulled Sitas over Tuesday on Means Street after they noticed him driving with an expired inspection sticker and a stolen license plate.
Another vehicle that Sitas owns, which was being repaired at Canton Auto Body, also had a stolen license plate, police said.
Besides being charged with receiving stolen property, Sitas was cited for driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, driving an uninspected vehicle, and driving with an expired registration, police said.
DUI charge
The following person was recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:
James Palfreyman, 31, of Ulster, by the Towanda police, on June 5 on Elm Street in Towanda Borough. Palfreyman's blood alcohol content was .116 percent on the day of his arrest.
