Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:
Lindsay Hart, 26, of Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to State Intermediate Punishment for 24 months (State Intermediate Punishment is a two year program. It begins with at least seven months of regular state prison, followed by custody in a drug/alcohol addiction center, followed by restricted living in a residential program. The prison administration must be satisfied that the prisoner has made progress in rehabilitation from substance abuse. If not, the prisoner will be dismissed from S.I.P and resentenced. If the S.I.P. program is completed, the prisoner will be under probation supervision for two additional years and checked regularly for drug or alcohol use. If he/she violates during those two years, Probation will be revoked and if there is a violation more incarceration will be imposed) for the offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a felony. Trooper Robert Hutchison of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Hart following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox Township in March 2014.

Mark Brundage, 30, of Athens, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in Bradford Correctional Facility for 90 days (flat); and County Intermediate Punishment for 12 months (County Intermediate Punishment involves a combination of restrictions and supervision. It may include home confinement, electric monitor, and substance abuse treatment. Violation can result in incarceration), fines of $600, plus court costs. This resentencing is consecutive to other sentences, for the offenses of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree and Public Drunkenness, a summary offense. Sergeant James Shaw of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Brundage for the offense occurring on April 27, 2014.
Michael Engle, 31, Athens, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Faculty for 45 days (flat), County Intermediate Punishment for 24 months (County Intermediate Punishment involves a combination of restrictions and supervision. It may include home confinement, electric monitor, and substance abuse treatment. Violation can result in incarceration), fines of $1,500, plus court costs; he will also lose his driver's license for 18 months for the Influence of Alcohol, misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer Andrew Stevens of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Engle for the offense occurring on Feb. 8, 2015.
John Minnier, 22, Dushore, Pa., was resentenced to probation Supervision for a term of 18 months, fines of $500, plus court costs, restitution of $117.25, for the offense of Theft by Deception, misdemeanor of the second degree. Officer Timothy Cahill of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Minnier for the offense occurring on Jan. 30, 2011.
Joshua Parsons, 19, of Towanda, Pa., was sentenced to imprisonment in Bradford County Correctional Facility of four months to 12 months, followed by supervision for a term of 36 months, fines of $4,500, plus court costs and restitution of $3,484, he will also lose his driver's license for 24 months, additional license suspension of 12 months will be imposed for refusal to submit to testing when arrested. Parsons was arrested for the offenses of two counts of Theft, felonies of the third degree, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, misdemeanor of the second degree, and two counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, both misdemeanors. Officer Sean Flynn of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Parsons for the offense occurring on June 23, 2015. Trooper William McDermott and Trooper Kyle Gruber of the Pennsylvania State Police also arrested Parsons following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox and Sheshequin townships.

Joshua Woodruff, 21, Wysox, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Woodruff will be sentenced on Aug. 24, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper William McDermott of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Woodruff following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox Township on Feb. 15, 2015.
Kyle Cook, 26, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Cook will be sentenced on Aug. 24, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Michael O'Boyle of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Cook following investigation of an incident that occurred in Rome Borough in January 2015.
Joshua Decker, 21, Nichols, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Aggravated Assault by Vehicle, a felony of the third degree. Decker will be sentenced on Aug. 10, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Sergeant David Lantz of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Decker for the offense in December 2014.
Eamon Daley, 21, Lebanon, Pa., entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Daley will be sentenced on Aug. 24, 2015, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Derek Dekar of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Daley for the offense on Feb. 22, 2015.

Becca Morgan, 23, Troy, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on Probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Morgan will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Morgan must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and she will lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days. Trooper William McDermott of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Morgan for the offense on March 28, 2015 in Granville Township.
Amber Santo, 31, Rome, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on Probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Santo will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally Santo must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and she will lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days. Officer Thomas VanFleet of the Athens Township Police Department filed the charges on March 29, 2015, for the offense in Athens Township.
Crystal Tracy, 28, Wyalusing, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on Probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Tracy will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Tracy must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and she will lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper Joshua Fisher of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Campbell for the offense on April 25, 2015 for the offense in Wyalusing Township.
Brian Seymour, 49, Athens, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on Probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Seymour will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Seymour must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer Jason Serfas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Seymour for the offense in Athens Township.
Helen Barbey, 58, Towanda, Pa., charged with the offense of Driving under Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on Probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Barbey will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Barbey must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and she will lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer Corey McLinko of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Barbey and filed the charges on March 13, 2015, for the offense in Towanda Borough.
Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following person entered a plea of "no contest" (the plea has the same effect as a guilty plea; it is entered when a defendant cannot recall the crime charged):
Randolph Potter, 50, Towanda, Pa., entered a plea of nolo contendere/no contest to Criminal Trespass, a misdemeanor of the third degree and Public Drunkenness. Potter will be sentenced following preparation of a pre-sentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. A no-contest plea is entered where the defendant cannot recall the event but will be held guilty and sentenced. Officer John Werner of the Towanda Police Department arrested Potter for the offense in November 2014.
