One injured in crash on Towanda bridge
Karina J. Tuttle, 21, of Monroeton suffered a minor injury when her Jeep Grand Cherokee was rear-ended by another vehicle on the Veterans Memorial Bridge in Towanda, police said.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee was stopped behind other traffic on the bridge when it was struck in the rear by a 2013 Dodge Durango, which was traveling west on U.S. Route 6, police said.
Catherine A. Korfmann, 48, of Wyalusing, who was operating the Dodge Durango, was uninjured, police said.
Several passengers in the two vehicles were also uninjured, state police at Towanda said.
The accident occurred at 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 28, police said.
Korfmann was cited for following too closely, state police at Towanda said.
Burlington man charged with tampering with evidence
Christopher M. Travis, 28, of Burlington has been charged with tampering with physical evidence, state police said.
The charge stems from a July 19 incident in which Travis allegedly removed a number of beer cans from a vehicle that had been involved in a one-vehicle accident the previous day, police said.
State police that, prior to the removal of the beer cans, they had told Travis to not remove anything from the vehicle. State police said they told Travis to stay away from the vehicle because they believed his girlfriend, 23-year-old Megan Elizabeth Randall of Rome, was likely going to be charged with DUI and there could be evidence in the vehicle to back up the charge.
The accident occurred on Laquin Road in the southwestern part of Bradford County.
Randall was subsequently charged with DUI and will face the charge at a preliminary hearing on Sept. 25 in Troy District Court.
Athens man to be charged for drug possession
State police are reporting the arrest of a 28-year-old Athens man who was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Police said they responded to a request for a motorist assist, Saturday, and found the suspect with drugs.
The incident occurred on Robinson Road at the intersection of Towner Hill Road in Rome Township, police said.
Identity theft in Warren Township
State police are investigating a report of identity theft that occurred sometime between Aug. 7 and Aug. 13 on Warren Center Road in Warren Township.
According to police, an unknown person used the social security number of Brett A. Dewing, 35, of Warren Center in order to gain employment.
The investigation continues, police said.
Truck driven on lawn
State police are investigating a report of criminal mischief relating to an Aug. 26 incident that occurred on Twin Cuts Road in Wyalusing Township.
According to police, an unknown person drove a white pickup truck through part of a front lawn owned by Ricky Tunnicliff, 56, of Wyalusing.

Electrical wire stolen in Warren Township
A burglary at a cabin on Irish Hill Road in Warren Township between June 20 and July 20 has resulted in an investigation being launched by state police.
According to a police press release, an unknown person climbed through a cabin window and stole electrical wiring belonging to Arthur Hamlen, 73, of Oxford, N.J.

Marijuana found at natural gas pad
State police are investigating an incident after a complainant found a small bag of marijuana in a grass field near a gas pad.
Police said the incident happened on Cooley Road in Orwell Township on Aug. 25.
DUI charges
The following people were recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:
Sara Ann Fenstermaker, 28, of Towanda, by the state police, on Aug. 16, on U.S. Route 6 in Towanda Borough. A blood test revealed that Fenstermaker's blood alcohol content was .250 percent on the day of her arrest.
James Kameron Cashion, 23, of Paris, Texas, by the state police, on Aug. 23, in the parking lot of the Dandy Mini Mart in Monroe Borough. A blood test revealed that Cashion's blood alcohol content was .155 percent on the day of his arrest.
