Sayre men charged with loitering, prowling at night
Sayre Borough Police filed charges against two Sayre men after Athens Borough Police reported individuals walking in a secluded area near the Enterprise Center on South Elmer Avenue in Sayre on Sept. 23, police said.
Austin K. Hopson, 18, and Adrien A. Umber, 21, were charged with loitering and prowling at nighttime, according to Sayre police.
Police said neither Hopson or Umber live in the area near the Enterprise Center and said they were walking from a Payne Street residence in Athens to their homes, but police said their route was "out of the way in which they would have been coming from."
A third suspect was seen running when Athens police arrived, and Sayre police later saw the suspect again but he ran into a residence and refused to answer the door, police said.
Hopson and Umber have been issued summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw on Oct. 20 for their preliminary hearings.
Truck damaged in Sheshequin
Towanda state police said a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 truck had all four of its tires damaged on Sept. 19 at about 10:15 p.m.
The truck was parked in the Ghent Gospel Church parking lot in Sheshequin Township where the damage occurred, police said.

Hit-and-run in Ridgebury
An unknown vehicle crashed into a mailbox at about 2:05 a.m. on Sept. 19 at a Berwick Turnpike residence in Ridgebury Township, according to Towanda state police.
Police said the vehicle was heading south when it struck a mailbox.
The vehicle fled the scene undetected, police said.

Burglary, theft in Smithfield
Between Sept. 13 and Sept. 16, Towanda state police said an unknown actor or actors broke into a Smithfield residence and stole several items.
Police said a Dewalt reciprocating saw, McCulloch Model 1010 chainsaw, Craftsman portable battery charger, and a red plastic five-gallon gas can were stolen from the residence after the actor or actors gained entrance to the structure.
Police are investigating the incident.
DUI charges
The following people were recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:
Nathan Hughes Spencer, 27, of Granville Summit, by Canton Borough Police Department, following a traffic stop Aug. 2 on Lycoming Street in Canton.
Spencer was also charged with violations of "restriction on alcoholic beverages" and "driving on roadways laned for traffic," according to court papers filed with the office of Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy.
He was sent a summons and faces a preliminary hearing in DUI Court at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 23 at Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark's office in Towanda.
Christopher Stephen Ribovich, 25, of Canton, by Canton Borough Police Department, following a crash around 2:14 a.m. Aug. 30 on Lycoming Street in Canton.
Ribovich was also charged with violations of "registration and certificate of title required" and "driving on roadways laned for traffic," and reckless driving, according to court papers filed with the office of Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy.

John Martin Roloson, 21, of Troy, by Pennsylvania State Police, following a one-car crash on State Route 549, south of its intersection with State Route 328, at approximately 12:30 a.m. Aug. 30 in Wells Township.
Roloson was also charged with violations of "driving on roadways laned for traffic," "driving vehicle at safe speed," and "restriction on alcoholic beverages," and careless driving, according to court papers filed with the office of Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy.

Amber Fawn Best, 26, of Columbia Cross Roads, by Pennsylvania State Police, following a crash Aug. 8 on Lake Hill Road in Canton Township.
Best was also charged with recklessly endangering another person and violations of "drivers required to be licensed" and "driving on roadways laned for traffic," according to court papers filed with the office of Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy.
She was sent a summons and faces a preliminary hearing in DUI Court at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 23 at Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark's office in Towanda.
Wesley Richard Pellor, 21, of Gillett, by Pennsylvania State Police, following a traffic stop at approximately 8:58 p.m. Aug. 15 on Thompson Hill Road in Ridgebury Township.
Pellor was also charged with criminal mischief, for striking an electronic flare of the Ridgebury Township Volunteer Fire Department at a crash scene, and careless driving, according to court papers filed with the office of Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy.
He was sent a summons and faces a preliminary hearing in DUI Court at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 23 at Magisterial District Judge Timothy Clark's office in Towanda.
Matthew David Wood, 31, of Columbia Cross Roads, by Pennsylvania State Police, following a one-vehicle roll-over crash on Route 14 at Coryland Road at approximately 10:25 p.m. Aug. 22 in Columbia Township.
Wood was also charged with violations of "driving on roadways laned for traffic," "driving vehicle at safe speed," "operation on streets and highways," and "operation in safe manner," and careless driving, according to court papers filed with the office of Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy.
He faces a preliminary hearing in DUI Court at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 9.
Michael Anthony Snay, 42, of Gillett, by Pennsylvania State Police, following a crash at approximately 5:30 p.m. June 28 on Thunder Road in South Creek Township.
Snay was also charged with a violation of "driving vehicle at safe speed" and careless driving, according to court papers filed with the office of Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy.
He is awaiting a preliminary hearing, according to online public court records. His next action date is listed as Sept. 25.
