Hopewell Crime for Aug. 11

The following information was provided by the Hopewell Police Department.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Outbuilding/Garage: At 1 a.m. July 29, police responded to the 300 block of Ramsey Avenue for a reported larceny. Unknown offender entered unsecured storage shed and stole a tool bag containing tools.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 8:33 p.m. July 31, police responded to the 2200 block of Atlantic Street for a reported burglary. Known offender was found inside residence, having entered by pushing in window a/c unit and was apprehended by the resident. Offender later arrested. Nothing stolen.

- Burglary/Breaking and Entering/Residential: At 9:30 p.m. Aug. 2, police responded to the 3300 block of Trenton Street for a reported alarm activation. Unknown offender entered residence by prying garage door and interior door. Nothing stolen.

- Drug/Narcotic Violation: At 12:36 a.m. Aug. 2, police responded to terminal Street and Winston Churchill Drive in regards to an accident. Driver was found to be in possession of narcotics and was arrested.

- Larceny/Theft of Motor Vehicles Parts/Accessories: At 9:52 a.m. Aug. 2, police responded to the 2600 block of Perry Street for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole vehicle license plate.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 9 a.m. July 29, police responded to the 300 block of S. 13th Avenue regarding a larceny. Known offender stole a/c unit from outside of residence.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 9 a.m. July 29, police were dispatched to the 00 block of Winston Churchill Drive for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole utility trailer with pressure washer and water tank.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 6:48 p.m. July 30, police responded to the area of City Point Road and S. 4th Avenue for a reported larceny. Known offender stole a cell phone.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 5 p.m. July 30, police were dispatched to the 600 block of E. Poythress Street for a reported larceny. Unknown offender tole bicycle from residential porch.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 12 p.m. July 30, police responded to the 300 block of City Point Road in reference to a larceny. Unknown offender stole lawn mower from yard.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 1:45 p.m. Aug. 1, police responded to the 500 block of N. 20th Avenue for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole tool box from rear yard.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: at 12 p.m. Aug. 1, police responded to the 100 block of N. 7th Avenue in regards to a larceny. Unknown offender stole lawn mower from unsecured garage.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 6 a.m. Aug. 1, police responded to the 3500 block of Portsmouth Street for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole bicycle from residential yard.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 10 a.m. Aug. 2, police responded to the 900 block of Pembroke Street for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole bicycle from residential yard.

- Larceny-All Other Larceny: At 8 p.m. Aug. 4, police responded to the 2500 block of Berry street regarding a larceny. Unknown offender stole a/c unit/heat pump from outside of residence.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 10 a.m. July 29, police responded to the 300 block of S. 13th Avenue for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole a/c unit from residential porch.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 12 p.m. July 31, police responded to the 3300 block of Hampton Avenue for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole heat pump from outside of residence.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 4 p.m. Aug. 1, police responded to headquarters for a reported larceny that occurred in the 1000 block of Burnside Street. Known offender stole laptop, tablet, computer, and game system from residence. Tablet computer recovered.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 12 a.m. Aug. 1, police responded to the 4100 block of Oaklawn Boulevard in regards to a larceny. Unknown offender stole a/c units from the top of a store building.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 5:30 a.m. Aug. 2, police responded to the headquarters for a reported larceny that occurred in the 200 block of S. 8th Ave. Known offender stole a cell phone which was later returned.

- Larceny-Theft From Building: At 9 p.m. Aug. 4, police responded to the 1800 block of Arlington Road for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole lawn equipment from unsecured shed.

- Robbery/Individual: At 9:20 p.m. July 29, police responded to the 2300 block of oaklawn Boulevard for a reported robbery that occurred in the 700 block of Elm St. Unknown offender brandished firearm at victims in the street, ordered victims to the ground and stole cash, headphones and cell phone.

- Theft-Theft of Motor Vehicles Parts/Accessories: At 12 p.m. Aug. 2, police responded to the 1600 block of Atlantic Street for a reported larceny. Unknown offender stole license plates from the vehicle.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 12 p.m. July 29, police responded to the 3300 block of Woodlawn Street for a reported suspicious circumstance. Unknown offender cut a residential window screen.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 8 p.m. July 29, police responded to the 500 block of N. 3 1/2 Avenue for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender cut a residential window screen.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 10:18 p.m. July 29, police responded to the 3400 block of River Road for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender threw rocks at vehicles, breaking vehicle glass.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 3 p.m. July 29, police responded tot he 3200 block of Elmwood for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender struck moving vehicle with an unknown object, denting the vehicle.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 3 p.m. July 30, police responded to the 3300 block of Oaklawn Boulevard for a reported civil matter. Known offender damaged front door by kicking.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 1 a.m. July 31, police responded to the 1400 block of Central Avenue for a reported vandalism. Known offender broke glass door pane and TV.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 11 p.m. July 29, police responded to the 200 block of Ramsey Avenue for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender struck vehicle with a paintball gun, denting the vehicle.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 3:20 p.m. Aug. 1, police responded to the 2300 block of Norfolk Street for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender broke residential window with rock.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 2 p.m. Aug. 1, police responded to the 2400 block of Norfolk Street for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender dented residential siding with rock.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 6:30 a.m. Aug. 3, police responded to the 400 block of S. 21st Avenue for a reported vandalism. Offender damaged front door by kicking.

- Vandalism/Damage/Destruction of Property: At 11:30 a.m. Aug. 4, police responded to the 2200 block of Dublin Street for a reported vandalism. Unknown offender cut vehicle tire.

- Weapon Law Offenses: At 5:09 p.m. July 30, police responded to the 300 block of E. Randolph Road in reference to a fight. Known offenders were in a verbal altercation where weapons were displayed and one known offender was arrested for weapons violations.
