Sexting at high school

MANDATA - State police at Stonington reported a male juvenile and female juvenile were cited for sexting (transmission of sexually explicit images) after an incident at 1:24 p.m. Friday at Line Mountain High School.

Treatment center assaults

MAHONING TOWNSHIP - A Mount Carmel man was among three employees allegedly assaulted Friday or Saturday at North Central Secure Treatment Center, 13 Kirkbride Drive.

State police at Milton reported Jake Scicchitano, 26, was assaulted by residents Raekwon Hawkins, 19, of Philadelphia, and a 17-year-old male from Philadelphia at 5:24 p.m. Friday. Scicchitano suffered minor injuries and underwent emergency room treatment at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Hawkins was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment. Similar charges are pending against the juvenile.

Hawkins also was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment for allegedly assaulting Matthew Dale, 43, of Mifflinburg, at the center at 8:15 p.m. Friday.

Dale also was assaulted by a known resident at 11 a.m. Saturday, police said.

Police reported a 17-year-old male from Philadelphia faces charges for allegedly assaulting Jerry Bennett, 25, of Linden, at 6:25 p.m. Friday at the center.
