Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett announced that the following persons were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda:
Joseph L. Wigglesworth, 22, Forksville, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from three months to six months plus 60 days, and fines totaling $2000.00, for the offenses of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving While Operating Privilege Suspended - DUI Related. Wigglesworth will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 months with an additional suspension of 18 months for his refusal to submit to blood testing at the time of his arrest. Officer Joshua Heckman of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Wigglesworth for the offense in November 2012.
Damon Grippo, 20, Wyalusing, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from one year and six days to four years, and a fine of $1100.00, for two counts each of Burglary, Criminal Trespass, and Forgery. Grippo was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $9418.29. Troopers Nathan Lewis, Craig Flynn, and Michael Wienckoski of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Grippo for the offenses following investigation of incidents that occurred in Wyalusing, Orwell and Herrick Townships in 2011.
Teresa Hiller, 31, Towanda, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 40 days to 12 months, and a fine of $250.00, for the offense of Hindering Apprehension. Trooper Nathan Lewis of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Hiller for the offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in Columbia Township in August 2010.
Barry Ford, 49, Ulster, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 12 days to 12 months, and a fine of $1500.00, for two counts of the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 24 months. Troopers Anthony Stempien and Jeffrey Creedon of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Ford for the offenses following investigation of incidents that occurred in Ulster Township in February 2013 and November 2012.
Lucas Kinsman, 26, Sayre, PA, was sentenced to a total term of imprisonment in the Bradford County Correctional Facility of from 93 days to 18 months, and fines totaling $1100.00, for the offenses of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Retail Theft; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 12 months. Officers Denny Slater and Jeremy Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Kinsman for the offenses in March 2012 and May 2013.
Cathy Gibson, 31, Canton, PA, was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from one year to four years, and a fine of $500.00, for two counts of the offense of Forgery; she was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $27.01. Trooper John Youngblood of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Gibson for the offense following investigation of incidents that occurred in Canton Borough and Wysox Township.
Desiree Daff, 40, Laceyville, PA, was resentenced, following revocation of her original sentence of probation for violation of probation conditions, to a term of imprisonment in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility of from one year to four years, and a fine of $500.00, for the offense of Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance. Daff was also ordered to reimburse the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of $300.00 for money used to purchase a controlled substance at the time of her arrest. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Daff for the offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in Sheshequin Township in August 2011.

Travis Ruvolo, 22, Sayre, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of Simple Assault, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct; he will be sentenced on August 29, 2013. Officer Jason Serfas of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Ruvolo for the offense in March 2013.
Tyler Sibley, 19, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance was sentenced to a term of probation of one year and a fine of $200.00; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for six months. Agents of the Pennsylvania State Police Vice and Narcotics Unit arrested Sibley following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough.
Teresa Hiller, 31, Towanda, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Receiving Stolen Property; she will be sentenced on August 29, 2013. Trooper Jeffrey Sredenschek of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested for the offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in Springfield Township in July 2012.
Cameron May, 24, Roaring Branch, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol; he will be sentenced on August 29, 2013. Corporal Norman Strauss of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested May following investigation of an incident that occurred in Canton Township.
Connie J. Grace, 27, Columbia Cross Roads, PA, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol; she will be sentenced following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Rich Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Grace for the offense in April 2013.

Fredrick Lavely, 56, Rome, PA, charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol in Towanda Borough by Sergeant David Lantz in March 2013, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on Probation, Lavely will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Lavely must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel as conditions of ARD placement; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days.
Matthew Walker, 28, Charlotte, NC, charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol in Towanda Township by Trooper Kevin Hibson of the Pennsylvania State Police in August 2012, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on Probation, Walker will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Walker must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel as conditions of ARD placement; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days.
Robert Schoonover, 28, Towanda, PA, charged with Driving under the Influence of Alcohol in Towanda Borough by Officer Bryan Bellows in May 2013, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on Probation, Schoonover will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department, which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Schoonover must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel as conditions of ARD placement; he will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days.
