CHESTERFIELD - The Chesterfield County Police Department has released surveillance photos of the suspects who robbed two McDonald's restaurants on Monday, Sept. 2.
At about 1 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 2, two men robbed the McDonald's at 7400 Hull Street Road. Police said two men, armed with a handgun, approached an employee outside and ordered her back into the restaurant. Once inside, the suspects ordered the victims to the ground. The suspects took cash from the restaurant and items from the victims before fleeing the scene.
Then, at about 5:50 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 2, two men robbed the McDonald's at 2300 Willis Road. Police said two men, each armed with a handgun, approached employees standing outside and ordered them back into the restaurant. The suspects took a cell phone, but were not able to obtain any cash from the restaurant before fleeing the scene.
At this point, the investigation indicates that Monday's robberies are related to the Aug. 9 robbery of the McDonald's at 14540 Hancock Village Street. In that incident, two men, armed with a single long gun, entered the store at about 1:30 a.m. and ordered the employees to the ground. The suspects took cash from the restaurant and items from the victims before fleeing the scene.
No one was injured in any of the robberies. In each incident, the suspects were described as black males, about 16-25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 150 pounds. In each robbery, both men wore masks and gloves.
