Crime Solvers program needs help to solve burglary

CHESTERFIELD/COLONIAL HEIGHTS - This week, the Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help to solve a hair-raising burglary.

On Wednesday, Aug. 28, at about 1:30 a.m., police responded to an alarm call at Beauty World, 10440 Midlothian Turnpike. Officers found the front door shattered, and the investigation revealed that multiple hair extensions worth about $4,000 were stolen from the business.

Security cameras at the store captured images of two suspects. The first suspect is a black female, who was wearing a dark, long-sleeved shirt, a pink scarf around her neck and a ball cap. The second suspect is a possibly heavyset male, who was wearing a dark, hooded jacket, pants and shoes.
