Lackawanna County Court Sentencings 9/10/2013

The following defendants were sentenced recently by Judge Vito Geroulo:

- Ashley Sabbatini, 23, 303 14th Ave., Scranton, 15 months to three years in state prison for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

- Jarrell S. Brown, 27, 1319 Capouse Ave., Scranton, 27 months to 4½ years in state prison and two years' probation for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use a communication facility.

- Corey Lewis, 20, 231 Oak St., Dunmore, 22 months to four years in state prison and two years' probation for aggravated and simple assault.

- Jonathan Alan Deininger, 21, 1125 Water St., Moosic, 11½-23 months' county prison and $1,000 fine for aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence and DUI.

- Wesley Chad Freeman, 40, 240 Scott Road, Clarks Summit, 18 months to five years in state prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver a controlled substance and theft by unlawful taking.

- Stephen Dwayne Simmons, 40, Rear 535 Hemlock St., Scranton, 4-23 months' county prison and one year's probation for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility.

- Thomas J. Miller, 26, 413 S. Ninth Ave., Scranton, 90 days' house arrest, 57 months' intermediate punishment and $1,500 fine for DUI.

- Blaine Christian, 21, 538 N. Sumner Ave., Scranton, one year's probation for possession drug paraphernalia.

- Kimberly Ann Dickey, 31, 300 Donny Drive, Roaring Brook Twp., two days' house arrest, five months and 28 days on intermediate punishment and a $500 fine for DUI.

- Thomas K. Eddinger, 51, 14 E. Oak St., Pittston, one year's house arrest, four years' intermediate punishment and a $2,500 fine for DUI.

- Phrahut Sanaphol, 32, 137 Elizabeth St., Pittston, 1-2 years' state prison and two years' probation for possession a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession a controlled substance and possession drug paraphernalia.

- Timothy Russell Bagg, 32, 107 S. Rebecca Ave., Scranton, 4-23 months' county prison for indecent assault without consent of other.

- Lewis Davis Armstrong, 32, 51 E. Columbus Ave., Pittston, 1-5 years' state prison and a $2,250 fine for DUI.

- Brad Tomasovitch, 31, 650 Sanderson St., Throop, 1-3 years' in state prison and $14,995 in restitution for receiving stolen property.

Judge Michael Barrasse recently sentenced:

- Justin Ruiz, 24, 1221 Diamond Ave., 2nd Floor, Scranton, 3-7 years' state prison and two years' probation for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

- Gregory Griffiths, 39, 2215 Myrtle St., Scranton, 2-5 years' state prison and 2 years' probation for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility.

- Wayne Thrower, 61, Scranton, 2-5 years' state prison and 1 year's probation for theft by unlawful taking and false ID to law enforcement.

- Luis A. Mercado-Santiago, 26, 341 Evans Court, 1st Floor, Scranton, 33 months to 6½ years in state prison and 5 years' probation for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, DUI and resisting arrest.

- Ciara Lee Petrozeillo, 19, 510 Laurel St., Apt. 2, Dunmore, 1 year's probation for false identification to law enforcement.

- Steven Michael Salvati II, 21, 115 Nester Drive, Audubon, 1 year's probation for possession of a controlled substance.

- Kevin McGovern, 25, 1157 Eynon St., Scranton, 1 year's probation for harassment by communication.

- Frank H. Mason, 42, 119 Bellman St., Throop, 3-6 years' state prison and 2 years' probation for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

- Shaun Bouldin, 37, 1000 Grant St., Hazleton, 2-5 years' state prison and 3 years' probation for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

- Tyrone Thomas, 28, Philadelphia, 1-2 years' state prison for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

- Thomas A. Craven, 47, 463 Oak St., Scranton, 16 months to 5 years in state prison and a $2,500 fine for DUI.

Judge Richard Saxton Sr. recently sentenced:

- Bruce G. Vairo, 60, 527A Charles St., Throop, 6 months' probation for contempt for violation order.
