DUI charges
The following people were recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:
Zane Eli Morgan, 38, of Columbia Cross Roads, by Sayre Borough police, on Nov. 24, on Spring Street in Sayre. Morgan has also been charged with driving on the left side of the roadway, reckless driving and speeding. Morgan refused to submit to a blood alcohol test to determine his blood alcohol content. Morgan has been sent a summons to appear Jan. 7 before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw for a preliminary hearing.
Child endangerment charge
A Sayre woman was recently charged with endangering the welfare of a child by Athens Township police.
According to information filed with Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw, Denise R. Hurd, 33, was also charged with leaving an unattended child in a motor vehicle.
Police said Hurd locked a three-year-old male child in her vehicle unsupervised for 53 minutes while she shopped Nov. 16 at the Walmart store on Elmira Street.
Hurd's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 7.
Man charged with trespassing
An Athens man was recently charged with criminal trespass by Sayre Borough police.
According to papers filed with Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw, Christopher P. Davis, 48, was also charged with disorderly conduct.
Police said Davis entered a Fulton Street residence without invitation at about 12:55 a.m. Nov. 21 and attempted to engage in a fight with a male inside the house.
Davis' preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 7.
