Children injured
Minor injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident at 3:45 a.m. Dec. 3 on Shotgun Hollow Road, eight-tenths of a mile west of Herman Road in Burlington Township, said state police at Towanda.
Police said Tiffany Lee Space, 24, of Ulster, who was not injured in the crash, was traveling east on Shotgun Hollow Road, and lost control of her 1997 Ford Explorer while crossing an icy bridge and traveling on a left curve in the roadway. It went through the west travel lane and struck a guardrail at the end of the bridge. According to police, the vehicle had functional damage to the front-end area and was driven from the scene. Police said a 5-year-old boy and a 3-year-old boy, both from Ulster, who were passengers, had minor injuries and were taken to Memorial Hospital in Towanda for a medical evaluation.
Charges were filed against the driver in District Court 42-3-03, police said.
Window smashed
State police at Towanda said someone smashed a window at a business between Nov. 29 and Nov. 30 on Leona Road in Troy Township.
Police did not identify the business.
No injuries reported
State police at Towanda said a one-vehicle crash with no injuries occurred at 4:50 a.m. Nov. 26 on Route 414 in Leroy Township.
Police provided no identifying information about the driver, only saying that a Ford F-150 was traveling west at approximately 45 mph and the driver lost control, due to the road being snow-covered. According to police, the vehicle then spun 180 degrees on the road, causing the front of the vehicle to face east. It then continued to slide off the southern side of the road, crossing over the eastbound lane of travel. Immediately after leaving the roadway, it rolled onto its passenger side. Canton Auto Body assisted by pulling the vehicle back onto its tires, and it was driven away from the scene.
Women charged
State police at Towanda said two Troy women were charged with false reports Nov. 27 after it was found that they lied about a crash investigation at 4:31 p.m. Nov. 10 on Leona Road in Springfield Township.
Police said Anna Jaeckel, no age given, of Troy, and Andrea Smith, no age given, of Troy reported that Jaeckel's vehicle was struck by a vehicle that Tracy Harrison, no age or address given, was operating, and she fled the scene. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that Jaeckel and Smith lied about the crash investigation, police said.
Minor injury reported
State police at Towanda said that Amanda Vogel, 25, of Columbia Cross Roads, had a minor injury in a one-vehicle crash Nov. 15 on Route 14 in Columbia Township.
Police said she was traveling south in the right travel lane at approximately 45 mph, and struck a deer with the front end area of her Nissan Cube. After colliding with the deer, the vehicle began to malfunction due to the impact and she pulled onto the southern berm in front of Keleher's Garage, police said.
Duffle bag found
State police at Towanda said a duffle bag was found at 12:39 p.m. Nov. 20 on Porter Road, one-fourth of a mile from Route 6, in Troy Township.
Anyone who may have lost the bag and the contents is asked to contact state police at Towanda.
Burglary investigated
State police at Towanda said they are investigating a burglary that took place sometime between 6 p.m. Nov. 19 and 8 a.m. Nov. 21 at the Old Mill Church on Route 6 in West Burlington Township, but no suspects can be linked to the investigation at this time.

One injured in crash
State police at Towanda said Eric A. Faust, 56, of Gillett, and Heidi M. Hauke, 43, of Williamsport, were involved in a two-vehicle accident at 12:38 p.m. Nov. 12 on Leona Road in Springfield Township.
Police said Faust was traveling at a speed excessive for the roadway characteristics, and negotiated a right hand turn prior to skidding 181 feet and colliding with Hauke's vehicle, which was attempting to turn left into a private driveway. Faust's vehicle spun in a clockwise direction and came to final rest facing north in the travel lane of Leona Road and the other vehicle spun in a clockwise direction, prior to coming to final rest on western berm of Leona Road. Police said Faust had an injury of unknown severity. He was charged with careless driving, police said.
DUI charges
The following people were recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:
Christopher Jerome Brown, 27, of Milan, by state police, on Aug. 31, at the intersection of routes 220 and 199 in Athens Township. Brown has also been charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a vehicle with a suspended registration and operating a vehicle without insurance. A blood alcohol test revealed that Brown's blood alcohol content was .119 percent on the day of his arrest and that Brown had marijuana in his system at the time of his arrest. Brown has been sent a summons to appear Jan. 28 before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw for a preliminary hearing.
Jason Edward Nogar, 32, of Athens, by state police, on Nov. 2, on Route 220 in Athens Township. Nogar has also been charged with speeding, operating a vehicle without a proper rear lighting system and driving with a suspended license. A blood alcohol test revealed that Nogar's blood alcohol content was .149 percent on the day of his arrest. Nogar has been sent a summons to appear Jan. 7 before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw for a preliminary hearing.
