Bump arrested on bath salt distribution charges
Robert Lee Bump, 38, of Towanda has been charged with delivery and possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a designer drug and criminal use of a communications facility relating to a Aug. 13 incident on Fairview Road in West Burlington Township.
Police said Bump sold 1.5 grams of bath salts to a confidential informant for $230.
Bump was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox on Tuesday and remanded to the Bradford County Correctional Facility in lieu of $75,000 bail.
Court documents show Bump was unable to post bail at the time of his arraignment.
He is scheduled to appear before Judge Wilcox on Jan. 15 at 1 p.m. for a preliminary hearing.
