Vandalism occurs in Towanda Twp.

State police said they are trying to determine who smashed out the passenger side front window of a 57-year-old Towanda woman's vehicle when it was parked across the street from her residence, police said.

The vandalism occurred sometime between 4:45 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday in the area of 471 Railroad St. in Towanda Township, state police at Towanda said.

Citation issued to winery in the Dushore area

A citation for liquor law violations was recently issued to the Bird Song Winery, 507-507A Bear Road, Dushore, Sullivan County, police said.

The citation was issued because the winery sold, furnished or gave alcohol to a minor, or permitted the selling, furnishing, or giving of alcohol to a minor, state police said.

The citation was also issued because a minor under 16 years of age was working at the business and because a minor under 18 years of age was involved in selling alcoholic beverages on the premises, police said.

The citation was issued on Dec. 12, according to the state police.

DUI charges

The following people were recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:

Jennifer Mae Irons, 29, of Waverly, by Athens Township police, on Dec. 8, on West Lockhart Street in Athens Township. Irons has also been charged with careless driving, reckless driving, failure to keep right and disorderly conduct. Irons refused to submit to a blood alcohol test to determine her blood alcohol content. Irons has been sent a summons to appear Jan. 28 before Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw for a preliminary hearing.

Man charged with drug possession

A Waverly man was recently arrested by Athens Township police on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

According to information filed with Magisterial District Judge Michael Shaw, Jordan D. Sinsabaugh, 27, was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said Sinsabaugh was found to be in possession of a small container with bath salts inside during investigation into a vehicle parked at about 4:22 a.m. Dec. 16 in the parking lot of Tanner's Bar on Route 199.

Sinsabaugh's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 28.
