One vehicle accident in Terry Twp.
John Voda, 45, of Wyalusing has been charged by state police with careless driving relating to a one vehicle accident on Wyalusing New Albany Road in Terry Township on Dec. 27.
According to police, Voda was traveling up hill and exiting a left curve when he crossed lanes and struck an embankment.
The 2006 Dodge Ram then rolled onto its drivers side and came to a rest blocking both lanes of travel.
Police said it is not known if Voda was injured during the accident.
No injuries reported
No injuries were suffered in a DUI crash at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 9 on Route 220 near the Dandy in New Albany, said state police at Towanda.
According to police, Joshua Michael Cummiskey, 24, of New Albany, was the driver.
He was driving a 1993 Ford Ranger and was making a right turn out of the Dandy parking lot. Police said he accelerated at a high rate of speed, causing the tires to spin. This caused the vehicle to overturn on its left side.
Dushore EMS and New Albany Fire were on the scene.
Police said he is being charged with DUI, careless driving and violations of "driving at safe speeds" and "restraint systems." Police said he wasn't wearing a seat belt.
His vehicle had "functional damage," police said.
